FAN MADE: Drew Struzan Inspired Poster For The Amazing Spider-Man And More!

Following the fantastic posters for Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy last week, we now also have one for The Amazing Spider-Man, along with a pretty cool banner which uses the recently leaked promotional photos...

Last week, we saw some great Drew Struzan inspired posters for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. While this one relies more on actual photographs, rather than original art, it's still pretty damned cool. (and I for one would love to see something like this released by Sony) The second one also caught my eye. Many thanks to Huntersky for the first, and ntbone for the following posters, taken from "The Official Spider-Man Fan Art & Manips Thread!" over at the SHH Forums.

STARRING:

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard
Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben
Sally Fields as Aunt May
Denis Leary as George Stacy

RELEASE DATE: July 3rd, 2012.

I have this funny feeling that Aunt May will suffer a nervous breakdown after Uncle Ben's murder. Sally Field would really be the perfect casting then!

I can't wait for Martin Sheen's son's cameo as the Warlock with Tiger Blood. Crack fueled villainy at it's finest.

I for one thinks it looks good. There is more feeling in this one, and that ain't a bad thing when considering a Spider Man origin story, his Uncles murder etc. The sequels can then be pure action.

Marvel Studios? Does not Sony own the rights for Spidey?

Beautiful pictures :)

If they ever do a clone saga movie, Charlie Sheen should play Kaine, the insane clone of Spiderman.

And for those wondering, Marvel Studios isn't doing this film. Sony/Columbia still owns the rights.

um, the text on the second pic is hella crooked. WTF

And not every movie poster needs this type of treatment. Just cause it worked for Indy and Starwars doesn't mean it works for every movie

^ I agree, enough of this, they looked that way in the 70's and 80's cause that was the style at the time, we don't have to retro-fy everything.
