We've all been wondering for quite a while now how work was progressing on the planned Daredevil reboot, and the director of the upcoming reboot has taken to Twitter (you can find a link to his account by clicking below) to clear up the status of the movie at this current time.
Well, you can't really argue with that in all honesty! While a rushed production can still result in something excellent (see:
X-Men: First Class) the fact that Slade is putting such focus into getting the script right first is surely for the best, especially after the disappointing 2003 version. All I can hope is that they're keeping a close eye on the new comic book series by writer Mark Waid and artists Paolo Rivera and Marcos Martin, because the tone in that would make for a killer

UPDATE: Thanks to a heads up from our own "nailbiter11" we also have these Tweets from late last month, previously missed. What's interesting is that it's fan favorite Michael C. Hall who the fan caster chose in the first message that Slade replies to.
