TDKR: The Batwing Once Again Takes Flight...This Time With The Aid Of A Helicopter!

Spotted today in Los Angeles, hit the jump to take a look at the Batwing actually taking flight! However, whereas it's previously required the use of a hydraulic lift, it was a chopper which helped get it off the ground this time...

Idk but is not landing rather than taking flight? Real cool though.
I like how Nolan would rather do things physically than go all out
CGI in cases like this.. He knows when he needs CGI.. like in Inception

"It's physically, logically and mechanically impossible for that thing to fly. XD"

@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY

And where did you get your engineering degree from? Same could be said about the F-117, which it was without a fully integrated avionics systems in which computers continually made compromises to counter the many flaws in it's design, or even today's F-35's VTOL/STOL capabilites that allows it to hover.

Takes time to feel confortable with the new batwing [if it won't the batcopter], but i'm really enjoying it now!
@Dionysios - agree! But remember, after TDK some folks complained about the lack of fantastic elements in Nolan's bat-flicks, and now the same folks complaining about realism in TDKR.

IF NOLAN IS GROUNDING BATMAN IN REALITY, AND MADE AN ACTUAL BATMOBILE IN THE TUMBLER BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY DO WHAT THAT TYPE VEHICLE WAS NEEDED TO DO..WHY DIDN'T HE MAKE AN ACTUAL BATWING THAT COULD REALLY FLY???

Nolan is a genius! I luv this! It is sad how some people comment on the pictures are looking bad, I guess some of U do not know much about film making and roughdraft's, U expect pictures of filming the movie is suppose to be looking exactly like the final presentation we will see on 07/20/2012, please learn.

God back and study Superman the Movie and Spider-man U will see because they filming was a roughdraft and the films were excellent.

Heck so was The Dark Knight also, I'm not saying the rough draft pictures during filming look bad I'm saying the final presentation will look better but I 4got some people will always find something wrong with everything, just like if anyone gives U a million dollars some people would say "no I want a million & one"...grow up, learn & be thankful we have many CMB movies 2day ;)
