Both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight featured their fair share of thrilling chase sequences, but it looks as if The Dark Knight Rises will outdo them both! We've already seen a few other set videos covering plenty of vehicular action, but last night's nighttime shoot in Los Angeles saw over 20 police vehicles chasing down Batman on the Batpod.

That looks like an epic scene....i agree with @superdude115 and @superman7 with it picking up straight after tdk's final scene. Wanted for multiple murders including important people, he would have many police cars on his tail!

That might not be the case, I don't think the cops are just going to be around the corner waiting for him. I think the shot is supposed to be more police cars coming around the corner from different parts of the city. They can't actually film that, so it's the stuntmen waiting for the shot to start not the police waiting for batman to drive past.

I KNEW IT!!!!!!! i drive around LA all day for my job and have seen them setting up stuff for a movie all day and was thinkin its tdkr. its gotta be a continuation of the last scene of the tdk because the way the streets of LA are set up look a lot like it. with the the roads flowing underneath each other and emerging on surface level. LA looks exactly like that last scene. also one of the spots i post at has all the vehicles for tdkr in a lot across the street including gcpd swat cars and police cars. super cool haha
