CONFIRMED: Phil Lord And Chris Miller Developing THE FLASH Movie For Warner Bros.
There had been rumblings of The LEGO Movie and 22 Jump Street helmers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller having some sort of involvement with The Flash starring Ezra Miller, but it's now been confirmed. What will they be doing exactly? Well, you can find that out after the jump...
Deadline reports that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are working on a story for Warner Bros.' planned big screen adaptation of The Flash. As of right now, it's only a story treatment that the duo are developing and the site points out that they are not yet attached to direct. It could be that they just come up with a story for the studio to then enlist another writer or they might write the script themselves. Right now though, it's just a treatment, but hopefully they do end up writing and directing! Fans have been wondering when The LEGO Movie directors might tackle a superhero movie, and while there were rumblings of some sort of animated Spider-Man spinoff, that was before Sony teamed up with Marvel. Ezra Miller is set to play The Flash - it's not clear if he'll star as Barry Allen or Wally West - and it has a release date of March 23rd, 2018. What do you think?
