RESULTS: What Do You Think Of The New IRON MAN 3 Armor?

Over 8,600 of you voted when we asked you what you thought of the Iron Man 3 armour revealed at this past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con. With a drastically different look to Tony Stark's past suits (perhaps because it has something to do with Extremis) you may be surprised at the results!

It's no real surprise that Iron Man will be getting a new suit of armour in Shane Black's Iron Man 3 (Marvel wouldn't sell many toys if it was the exact same one as in The Avengers!), especially as the film will adapt the Warren Ellis and Adi Granov "Extremis" storyline. The suit which will seemingly use that technology was unveiled on the floor of the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, and after we asked you what you thought of the primarily golden suit, the results were very mixed. However, rather than judging a book by its cover so to speak, the majority of you decided that you need to wait until seeing it in action before making a final decision. It better serve a good purpose, and better not be some stupid ploy to sell toys. I will say it looked better in the photos that weren't as bright, but still a resounding meh from me.

I love this armour its different and that is y i like it's it's about time tony change his armour because he has different colors so dont blame the people who came up with the design because they do a good job at it and what do u expect he is a comic book character they can do wat ever they want to do...BUT I LOVE THE ARMOR

That pic above looks better because it's darker. The one on display at Comic-Con looked like garbage because it was too pale yellow where it should've been gold. I'm not thrilled with this armor. For example, why are the index finger and thumb yellow and the rest of the fingers red? That's stupid. It seems like they are just trying to be different and it's not necessary.

Looks nice! Why are people complaining that each suit needs a purpose? Not EVERY suit is built cause it has to be. You guys just NEED to complain about something huh? Haha Anyways, bring on Mark IX! Pure red suit with gold mask of course and mini repulsors everywhere :D

@avengersfiend - Thats why I like the this armor all of them were starting to look the same so a change needed to happen and for me it was a good one.

I like it. Any flaws you may find with it will go away when you see it in live action. Much like the Avengers armor.

The suit has some good style to it, definitely improves upon past looks with the new tech.
The first thing I thought when I saw the suit was that the "gold" looks more like a bone colored off white. Isn't the extremis armor stored within Tony's skeleton?

I'd like it if the yellow was a little more metallic and brighter. Right now he just looks like old mustard.

I am not that into the suits, as long as they look better than Jonny Socko and his Flying Robot, I will have no issues. Besides, the reason I am digging Iron Man so much is more about RDJ than what he is wearing.

The problem I have is it's not gold, it looks more like old yellowish wax. Of course everything looks better on screen and thats why i voted ill wait.

It's perfectly fine as it is, I don't know what all the fuss is about, it's probably only for special use in one scene like the suitcase armour was in Iron-Man 2 for his fight at the race track.

Personally I dont care how it looks,Cuz when Avengers 2 and Ironman 4 roll around, it will keep evolving...Wicked to see a real life Hall of Armors....
