Latino Review's El Mayimbe has revealed a ton of new details about both Justice League and the future of the DC Cinematic Universe! Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder will produce the superhero ensemble (the latter may direct), while Christian Bale is being lined up to return as the Caped Crusader!

BOOM. That was the sound of us all having our minds blown by some incredibly exciting news! According to the extremely reliable El Mayimbe over at Latino-Review, Christopher Nolan is the new godfather of the DC Cinematic Universe. Not only is he producing Man of Steel, but he and Zack Snyder will do the same for Justice League. The latter may even DIRECT the superhero ensemble. As if that wasn't enough to have us all wetting ourselves in anticipation, Warner Bros. are hoping to bring Christian Bale back as Batman. The studio wants to make it happen and the actor himself has said he would be willing to return for the right story as long as Nolan is involved. It's unclear whether or not David Goyer will be involved in the project, but is seems likely, while a World's Finest movie may still be on the cards! More info can be found in the video below.

For those doubting this guy, don't. He's broken many scoops that ended up being true, such as:

-Nolan and Goyer working on a Superman movie
-Heath Ledger being offered the role of Joker
-Ben Kingsley playing Mandarin
-Thanos in Avengers
-Guardians of the Galaxy movie in 2014

I'm okay with bale, cause he gave a decent portrayal of batman, but a great bruce wayne ( even though batman will appear more most likely in the justice league) I will also be okay with it, if it has NO TIES with the nolan verse. Im fine with bale playing batman again, in a james bond-esque return, but different universe. if its that... then ill be happy.

Now I wouldn't be extremely upset if Bale returned, but I mean......he'd be in his 40's, many injuries, and like I said, his Batman would die in 5 seconds against alien forces. I was looking forward to a revamp of Batman for Justice League. But, whatever.

Reading more about this source I'm starting to believe him. I am thrilled that Nolan & Snyder will be overseeing the DCCU, but I am upset about Bale being back as Batman. Mainly because of how disappointing TDKR was, at least to me. I loved the movie, but I expected more. But honestly, I'd rather just have them just retcon The Dark Knight Trilogy and have Bale's Batman be a new Batman more based on the comics.

Who wants to see an old ass Bale running around with a 25 year old Superman, and other superheroes of the same age??? NOT ME!!! That is just ridiculous! That universe of Batman is OVER!!! Let someone younger and better take on the role!!!

This is my only quarrel with this news and I hope it doesn't happen. I hope Nolan just produces while someone else takes the reigns and starts anew with the character.

I told everyone that Goyer will rewrite the Justice League script and that Zack Snyder will direct it.

Christopher Nolan god-fathering ALL of DC's properties is no surprise but it does concern me a bit. But as long as they stay true to the respective characters and stories and they come out as good as MOS then I'm fine with it.

This was one idea of how I would have done the cameo at the end of Man of Steel leading in to Justice League.



But obviously having a Superman and Batman interaction would probably be better.

Bale being back as Batman is VERY upsetting. Almost ruined my night. But I'm hoping this isn't set in stone yet.

Like someone said above, the Nolanverse Batman would die in 5 seconds. He wouldn't be able to stand next to Superman and defend himself. And having Batman just chill in his cave talking to the rest of the JL through an ear piece is NOT exciting.

Disney/Marvel's Hawkeye would kick Nolanverse Batman's ass! And that's just sad smh.

If this is true and Nolan is producing while Snyder is directing and Bale is returning as Batman I can honestly say that I am extremely excited and this is the best route to take. People are going to talk crap about Nolan and his Batman trilogy, but we all know that he is the best hope we have for seeing a Justice League movie.

As long as they can stray far from the realistic setting of TDK trilogy while still keeping the gritty tone Im good with it. Also, since when have the LR Hulk rumors been debunked? And Im not including the bullshit site AICN debunking it.
