New Promo Images Released From ARROW S2, E19; "The Man Under The Hood"

Sorry Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but if you want to catch up with Arrow anytime soon, you're going to need to put more effort into suiting up Deathlok, as these very cinematic images of Deathstroke from "The Man Under The Hood" blow that guy out of the water. Hit the jump to check them out!

HITS OLIVER AT HOME — Oliver (Stephen Amell), Canary (Caity Lotz), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) return to the lair and find Slade (Manu Bennett) waiting for them.  An epic battle breaks out and one member of Team Arrow is sent to the hospital.  Thea (Willa Holland) hits her breaking point, but just as Oliver is about to reach her, Slade intervenes and Oliver is faced with a choice – his battle with Slade or his family.  Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) struggles with a new secret.  Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Geoff Johns and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Keto Shimizu.

I admit that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't top this, but it's a good show, and I enjoy watching it, especially last night's episode.

Arrow is the best superhero show of all time. Arrow not only got the look right for Deathstroke, more importantly they got to be casting right. Manu Bennett IS Deathstroke. Arrow better connect to the DCCU. I could definitely see Manu taking on Batfleck in a future solo Batman movie.

Please kill off the ugly blonde that plays this Sarah Lance character. ATROCIOUS ACTING. Also, given Slade Wilson/Deathstroke is the best thing about this show this should be a good episode unlike all those mediocre ones.

Nor crazy about Deathstroke's look here. Looks too bulky and busy. He barely looks like he'd be able to move, let alone do whatever crazy fast, super soldier stuff he's going to do. SO MANY BUCKLES.
And to buy into the flame war bait, I'm no fan of Deathlok's appearance on AOS either. Compared to the Winter Soldier he DOES look like a dude in a Lazer Tag vest. But I hope his design evolves (we saw his classic cyborg look under his skin). Hope his skin gets removed and he gets better armor. Despite his design, I thought the character overall felt like an unstoppable badass, which is a good thing.

I don't get why people are comparing SEASON 2 of arrow to the first season of shield. Should't you compare it in their first year basis since both are laying the ground work?
