No Catwoman in Batman 3

Sorry, Catwoman fans, but don't expect Ms. Kyle to appear in the next Batman movie.
Acording to screenwriters David Goyer and Jonah Nolan a third Batman film would not include Catwoman:

"Everyone says its gotta be The Penguin or Catwoman! Well, I completely disagree."

It looks like we aren't going to see Miss Kyle for a while...

I really don't think CATWOMAN, PENGUIN or anyone should be in the NOLAN movies! New blood like =

DEADSHOT, DEATHSTROKE, BLACK MASK, etc etc are much better, not the same villain line up again lol.

DEATHSTROKE & DEADSHOT hired to hunt down a on the run BATS! Heck i suppose RIDDLER could be behind it!

I'm with LEEE Deadshot all the way. I'd also be okay with Deathstroke, I'm just reading alot of Suicide Squad back issues right now so I'm ready to see Lawton hit the big screen.

i also agree with lee but Nolan batman movies need catwomen cuz whats happens to his love interest she died like iron marvel said and i want to see a new and fresh penguin that wasn't like the old batman movie

Catwoman would be nice to have in Bats 3. If Deadshot made any appearance it should be a minor one, like Scarecrow in TDK. He isn't a big enough baddie to be a major villain. I would love to see him in the movie though, just in a minor part. Deathstroke, save him for a Teen Titans movie. The main villain should, and probably will be, the Riddler.

I don't think they need to intro. Robin, but maybe a tiny cameo at the very end of the movie would be sort of cool. This is still a young Bruce Wayne after all.

A Robin/ Dick Grayson cameo at the end would be nice as a transition from director to director most likely. And im starting to doubt this news because i think this is his first article and Nolan hasnt officially signed yet and no official script work I dont think either. Im gonna choose to wait for further developments and not truly believe this news just yet...and once again...where did u hear this???

Tyler im talking when he like faced almost all his villains they could introduce robin and bat girl but 1 robin they could introduce him at the end with his parents going to Gotham city and Barbra trying to be a cop and Alfred handing Bruce two circus tickets

I like the idea of Alfred getting Bruce circus tickets. The tickets could have "The Flying Graysons" on them.

I don't know who should play Batgirl, but if they ever do Oracle Barbara, Amy Adams is the one to go with for sure.

thanx tyler and they are going to do oracle Nolan is doing the movie he wants to make it realistic so oracle is realistic and i never noticed that Chloe from smallville and oracle are almost the same and if they ever do a casting for robin/dick grayson i would love to be him cuz im sure nolan would do him justice

Oracle Barbara makes a lot more sense and would be much better for a movie. Batgirl wouldn't translate well to the screen, at least not in Nolan's Bat-universe.

actual she could translate batman into it so she could fit in batgirl cuz is better to go into the characters past and show them how did batgirl become oracle like they did in batman begins

I'd do it with Barbara already Oracle, but there are a couple of flashbacks to when she was Batgirl, and to when she was paralyzed, that way there won't be much time spent on the origin, and the viewer knows how she got there as well.

i got a question if robin is young and hes in the circle and Barbra is oracle old already and robin suppose to be nightwing then the story is wrong and i want to see robin be4 he becomes nightwing with out no flashbacks

because you have to see robin story line cuz hes almost like batman both there parents were murder but dick grayson parent were murder in front of a crowd if they do put him in da movie they should show his anger and how him and Bruce relation grow (in a no homo way cuz a lot of ya thin robin is gay)

word Tyler i want robin to play it serious his parent juts died and Bruce is always leaving at night and i don't want no motorcycle races like batman forever cuz that was just a wast of time. but robin could throw a house party since Bruce leaves at night and when Bruce comes back as Bruce he gets mad and when they arguing grayson cuz say something like ur not my father so you cant tlk 2 me like that and he runs out the house and there then Gotham needs batman and dick see batman some where fighting bad guys and he see the guy who kill his family thats something i would like to see in a batman movie and the movie could be call batman rise of robin something like that

I agree. I always liked Dick Grayson. But, I'd rather have robin in the fourth movie...I like to see a solo Batman trilogy before they add characters in left and right.

The idea of Deadshot ...meh. Hes like bulleye...hes not suppose to miss and hes a hired assassin...whippi-do. Knowing Nolan and his style...hes probably going to focus on a deeper script...and that means they'd have to focus on BATMAN and GOTHAM CITY...and getting the city's trust back.

I dont see Deadshot in this....and Id rather them not put in characters that arent needed at the moment. Riddler, Bane, Killer Croc, any mainstream villian that can actually hold the antagonist role well...will do.

Finally, I'd rather have them stay away from LOVE interest....not every movie needs that. Hes a depressed, lonely bachelor, who lost someone close to him....Id dont think he move on that fast...I mean in the third movie he should be somewhere in the healing stage...i hope they take that under consideration...or else its just pointless the first two movies if he moves on that quick to another female.

wolf- they could show croc, and bane in arkum and they could show riddler but not as riddler but the guy who becomes him and i would also like to see him in the fourth movie but not played by an adult but a teen like and unknown like they did with the avatar last airbender

An Arkham scene passing a bunch of villains would be awesome to see.

With Catwoman, I don't think she should be a love interest per say, not where Bruce moves on to her right away, but it should have some of that type of stuff, but not a lot.

Black Mask should be in Bats 3, as a new Mob leader.

Guy Pearce = Black Mask

But the Riddler should be the front and center villain.

catwomen could be a mystery theif that no1 knows about and batman is on the run of the police like in the end of the dark knight and black mask could be a secondary villian getting ppl for his mob with riddler leaving riddle all around the city for batman to follow to see how smart is the batman

Well, Catwoman would be nice, but (yes I am showing my age again) nothing beats Julie Newmar as Catwoman. Nothing!

But, it would be pleasant to see a female interest in the next movie that I could actually see myself falling for. Maggie Gildenhall? RRRRREEEEEEEEETCH!!!! What a totally unattractive woman! Heck, I'm no Katie "Stroke pre-cursor Smirk" Holmes fan, but at least I could see myself hanging on for a while to get her naked.

Gildenhall? Hell, I'd pay that no-talen hack to put her clothes back on, including a triple-strength paper bag over that unbelievably mediocre face.

One can only specualate how, with all of the jaw-dropping gorgeous brunettes in Hollyweird, Gildenhall got THAT role.

And agreed, leave Robin out for now. Never was a huge fan of the Boy Blunder. Hell, I could see The Joker making a break from Arkham and hooking up with some other villains. But no, leave Penguin out of it, not really all that turgid over Riddler, either.

Can't really say I have a lot of suggestions for Batman III. I just know what I don't want to see.

Crap, I'd even take Bat-Mite over freaking Robin in the next movie!

they could show Selina be4 she dies and becomes catwomen as a news reporter. joker could escape from arkum like bropus said and more known and unknown batman villain could escape. and leaves batman to comeback and save Gotham city once again and i want to see robin as a teen not as a adult in a batman movie and chose ur batman character in fan fic chose quick be4 some1 chose the character u want or they already have done so????

First, I think Selina Kyle is a great character. She would not make a good villain, but that is why she is so interesting. She isn't good or bad. She just does what she wants. And Bruce does need a new love interest. I think she should definitely at least make an appearance.

Second, I know people complain about Robin a lot and how Batman is supposed to be a loner, but I really like the way Dick's origin and his relationship with Bruce are portrayed in the book Dark Victory. Bruce is still human. He's lost his friend Harvey Dent (and in the case of the movie his love Rachel). He feels alone. He witnesses this scene where a young boy's parents are murdered in front of him, reminding him of himself. He takes this boy in as a son. Dick helps prevent Bruce from losing his humanity completely. This seems really important to me. If they could pull it off in the movie like they did in Dark Victory, it could be really good. It should be toward the end of the movie though and Robin would have to be played by a kid (11 or 12 years old) instead of an adult like O'Donnell. Finally, Barbara Gordon could maybe make a brief cameo at the end, just as Jim Gordon's niece/newly adopted daughter, not as Batgirl yet.

Ok, sorry that was long, but that's just my opinion on what could be done with the next movie. Hope they don't make us wait too much longer!

Oh, also I think it's a shame that they wasted Two-Face by killing him off so quickly. Obviously the Joker is the best villain, in both the books and the movies, but he unfortunately can't be used anymore. Two-Face plays such a major role in the comics, I'm just surprised they wouldn't have wanted him around longer. Of course they could still bring him back if they want to, just play it off as pretending he had died so the public wouldn't know their beloved DA went nuts instead. Then escape from Arkham could equal a potentially great villain. Riddler could be ok too I think, but I'm not sure if he could hold the whole movie on his own.

I do think it will be not only the Riddler, but the Penguin as well. Considering how well they have resurrected The Batman, Scarecrow and The Joker from the ash-heap of Saturday morning cartoon characters, I think the folks behind the Batman films can pull these characters off.

What they need to avoid is a recognizable comic behind Riddler. Heath Ledger was able to depart from his other roles because of the makeup of Joker; you don't get that level of anonymity from a small Riddler mask.

I've been more for new, unknown actors getting these great comic book movie roles. Casting people should really shoot for who best can play the part, without being overruled by studio contract people who jsut want to further this-or-that career. I know it's a difficult slog, but perhaps with Marvel in the driver's seat, they can slow down on the star power and really delve into some of the unknown acting talent out there and CREATE careers instead of just boosting them along at the expense of a well-done movie.

[Previous rant not a criticism of a lot of the casting done for comic book films to date, well, except for maybe every single Superman movie, oh and the first series of 1980s-Batman movies, oh yeah and Liv Tyler in Hulk.]

Batgirl cannot be in this movie. Barbara Gordon was in The Dark Knight, they just hid her face the whole time they were being held by Two Face.

They should just introduce Selina Kyle at the end of the third movie, to set up a Catwoman plot for the next one. This way they can do the whole thing about him healing after Rachels death, but then he meets Salina at the end, and it kinda piques his interest, to show that he is maybe ready to heal completely, and that way we get Catwoman, which is all I really want.

First,we must to confirm what the motif in the Batman3 movie,it's important.About psychology?texxoxism?or democratic principles? etc etc.

On the basis of BEG and TND,I think the motif of Batman3 is about psychology,opinion,mass communication and people's attitude toward batman.From my viewpoint,scarface and riddler is so much better. riddler symbolize people's puzzle and perplexity
in city ,deep in murky corner and alley.

If riddler is heart and brains,scarface must be body and face,the relationship between riddler and scarface just like Joker and twoface,maybe,one outside,one inside,expressing in the motif of story.

Batman have to fight with cognitive dissonance between "save people,save world!" or "let it go!",so lonely&patiently...what a pity flymouse.

Maybe the government in the world of batman will play a part in story.

If you want to watch "bang bang&blood blood" I suggest that bane is an good choice.Deathshoot is appear in cartoon Gotham Knight just like a fool&loser&coward,so,I think the character is impossible appear in the movie batman3 again.
