In case you don’t know, Disney brought LucasFilm. Disney now has the Star Ware and Indiana Jones franchise. Over the past couple years; Disney has brought the Muppets franchise, Marvel comics, and now LucasFilm. Disney isn’t just taking over the game but changing the game and making it their own. I have come up with some suggestions that Disney could buy next. Some aren’t possible, some are for cool, some are for fun, and some needs to happen. Let’s get started.

1. The Rest of Marvel

Dear Fox & Sony, Disney just brought the entire Star Wars and Indiana Jones universes for 4.2 Billion dollars. If you think you can get something like that for giving Disney X-Men, Fantastic Four and Spider-Man your dead wrong. Before Disney buys another universe, they need to get all of the licenses back in one universe before focusing on another. We comic book fans have wanted Disney to buy the other characters in the Marvel universe. Now that Disney brought Star Wars I strongly feel they can get the other characters back and have a complete Marvel universe. I suggest giving FOX 2.5 billion for the X-Men, Deadpool, and Fantastic Four and give Sony 1.5 for Spider-Man.

2. The Three Stooges

Recently the Farrelly brothers directed, wrote, and produced a Three Stooges movie. While the movie got mixed reviews, the film is also considered a flop. As someone who saw the movie I thought it was pretty good and I saw it with my dad and he grew up a Stooges fan and he loved it. Chris Diamantopoulos, Sean Hayes, and Will Sasso were praised for their portrayals of Larry, Curly and Moe. The Three Stooges is one of the greatest comedy acts of all time. In this generation they need a breath of fresh air to keep up with today's family entertainment and who's better for it than Disney. Maybe replay some of the older Stooges shows as well as making a new Three Stooges show with the Farrelly brothers help.

3. Rights To A Halo Movie

Wouldn't it just be awesome if not only Disney had Star Wars but Halo. For anyone thinking that Halo maybe too violent because of the M rating, I have always disagreed with the rating. Beside blood there is no reason Halo should have gotten the M rating. Disney should try to make the film PG-13. Even though the last movie Disney made off of a game wasn't a success, they still held true to the game. Halo has been trying to get an adaption for a long time now and Disney could be a good home for the movie.

4. Rights To An Adaption of Stephen Colbert’s I AM A POLE (AND SO CAN YOU!)

Comedian, writer, political satirist, actor, and TV host Stephen Colbert wrote a children's book called I Am A Pole (And So Can You!). Children's writer Maurice Sendak praised the children's book. During a interview of Sendak by Colbert, Colbert gave a draft of the book with Sendak, to which Sendak stated "The sad thing is, I like it!" Colbert has said that while it’s a children's book, the book is "the perfect gift to give a child, or grandchild, for their high school or college graduation. Also, Father's Day. Also, other times." Using Pixar to adapt an animated movie with Colbert starring, directing, and producing, this movie could be a hit. Tom Hanks narrated the book in an audio tape so he could also be involved.

5.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Please save this franchise for being ruined from Michael Bay Disney. With the exception of the new show, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles haven't made as much as a impact in children's life's as some of us 80s and 90s babies. The last time the Turtles were really used was in the 2007 TMNT. The Turtles need a comeback and making them aliens is not the right way. For the most part, Disney has let Marvel do their thing and not change it. If Disney buys the Turtles they need to bring them back to their classic roots.

6. Transformers

I want a Transformers movie focused on the Transformers and not humans. In movies like Toy Story, Monsters INC, Cars, and A Bugs Life humans were either a back sit to other characters or humans weren't used at all. The Transformers need to focus on the robots and not the humans. Disney not only needs to buy them but make sure Michael Bay doesn't come close to this film. Keep Michael Bay as far away from the Transformers like keeping Jerry Sandusky as far away with a child.

7. Angry Birds Developer Rovio Entertainment

The company behind the hit mobile game, Angry Birds, could be brought by Disney. The most simple reason why is because of the fact we will see an Angry Birds Star Wars themed game. Knowing how big that will be, it is likely there will be sequels. If they make more Star Wars Angry Birds why not join Disney. They could also make Marvel, Muppets, and other Disney themed Angry Bird games.

8. Peanuts

Snoopy is without a doubt the coolest cartoon dog every. You can hang with Scooby but I'm a Snoopy fan. As a kid, I loved the Peanuts cartoons. Linus is probably my favorite character on the show. I could list many reasons why but to keep this article going let’s just say I carried my blanket everywhere too. In a world where it seems as those children are losing their innocence with many bad influences in the media, Peanuts was always the cartoon that spoken in religious terms, spiritual and had kids speaking like adults having common sense. In the last decade, nothing new has come from Peanuts besides the fact they still have their comic strip. Recently it was announced a Peanuts movie will come in 2015. While I am happy new Peanuts entertainment is coming out, we still need more. Having a new cartoon series that is produced with Charles Shulz's son, Craig, his grandson, Bryan, and Cornelius Uliano writing and being on board could be great. Just no CGI. Also a Snoopy/Mickey crossover would be amazing.

9. Family Guy

Sure this one is unlikely because of the shows mature humor, the fact the show is owned by FOX and can't see this happening on a Disney channel but did you see the clip? Wasn't it cool? A man can dream. Yea.

10. DC

As a diehard DC fan, I beg. Please buy DC Disney. Sure WB's owns them but money talks. I'm tired of defending WB's. While I'm remaining optimistic about the Justice League movie, nothing yet has screamed that the movie will be good. All WB's wants to do is make movies similar to Nolan's Batman series. While I love Nolan's Batman, I want some different. Not the same song and dance. Please Disney makes a deal. 7 billion on the table for DC and I promise WB's will take them. If you don't want to make life action DC movies because you have Marvel, let Pixar made animated DC movies for film. We've seen the photos of what if Pixar made Justice League and they looked awesome. Last night I wrote an editorial in the heat of the moment and now having some time pass from it I just feel that I shouldn't have wrote it and I have no confidence in WB's getting Justice League right. I have confidence in WB's making a Justice League movie, just not making it good. I have confidence in Superman and Batman but nothing about anyone else. I've defended you too long WB's. While I've grow up a DC fan, and will see DC movies if they get good reviews, I'm tired of defending. I'm not declaring myself a Marvel fan but I am joining the light side bandwagon with Disney. You know what really grinds my gears? You WB's. Frick you.

That is 10 suggestions that Disney could buy. What are your thoughts and feelings? Do you want to see Disney buy a couple of these suggestions are do you think they got enough franchises right now? Comment below. Peace.

NO WAY should Disney ever buy the Halo franchise. They would ruin it.

With the success of "Forward Unto Dawn" and the Live-Action Halo 4 Trailer, I'm sure Microsoft will have no trouble in getting an R rated cut made.

If they bought DC it would stop the Marvel vs DC shit once and for all.

I say go for it, buy WB/DC out.

The rest of Marvel would be great, but DC? never! They have the financial power to buy The Avengers or Star Wars, but Batman would bankrupt them!

Time Warner is worth 68Billion.
Walt Disney Co. is worth 72Billion.

I doubt that Time Warner would ever be bought out by Disney [or vise-versa] unless either one of the companies fell on hard-times and was willing to acquire a great deal of debt in the process. However, since neither company looks like they are headed towards bankruptcy anytime soon, it doesn't mean that one company or the other couldn't acquire parts of a company.

For example, Time Warner might sell DC Entertainment if it started to lose money and wanted to slim down Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc (where DC is housed). It could happen if Warner decides that these characters aren't worth much beyond the printed page (since print is dieing); however, I doubt that the WB will part with their comic properties in the foreseeable future (or ever).

The rest of marvel is the best, second is TMNT the 2003 series was good.
So that whole hate Justice League defense speech was a lie? Glad I'm a marvel fan because it's just sad what DC/WB are doing.

Getting the rest of the marvel film rights back will be on the top of their list. As for them buying dc? It will never happen,no matter how much some people would like to see it. Would love them to get the halo rights though, it been teased and talked about for way too long that movie needs to be made.

@LEVITIKUZ

the rant you had up there about justice league, i'm with you, man.

right now, i feel so filled with irritation at warner bros. i grew up with the dc universe, superman, batman, flash, wonder woman, green lantern, JUSTICE LEAGUE. and i have hoped and wished for decades that they'll just get the universe going. but again and again, they keep pulling all sorts of annoying shit that just pisses me the [frick] off. all the while marvel is pumping out movies left, right, and center, and getting it all right.

WARNER BROS CAN CHOKE ON A DICK AND DIE!!!

sigh... i don't really feel any better after letting out that built up irritation, but if i keep going i might give myself an aneurysm.

i just hope they get justice league right.

I really enjoyed the Transformers movies. Revenge of the Fallen wasn't all that great, but still good entertainment. I think unless set on cybertron, a Transformers film wouldn't be good unless the focus is on the humans.

The best ideas to me is get the rest of the Marvel characters and maybe TMNT

Worst ideas would be Peanuts Gang just cause they are their own characters and i dont think Disney needs to hold ownership of them as well

The 3 stooges, why would they want to own them, the movie flopped and nobody really cares for the characters anymore these days

Family Guy wouldnt fit the whole Disney image at all

As for DC, hmm that questionable, but can u see Disney owning two rival comic companies and try to work with both, I would sense some tension and think it would affect the quality of their products...Stick with marvel and let DC be...As i said, just get the rest of marvel back under one roof

Disney and DC would a god send since DC properties are perfect for Disney, even more so then Marvel. I mean if DC was owned by Disney, there would a much bigger chance of a Wonder Woman movie being made.

honestly all of these ideas are bad. disney needs to stop buying things. marvel doesnt need all there characters. if they had all of them we would get less movies. and why transformers and ninja turtles. just cuz michael bay messed up transformers 2 and 3 and turtles doesnt mean disney should buy them. who says disney can deliver? how do we know theyll deliver on starwars? indiana jones isnt anything without lucas speilberg and marshall, so whatever indy we get it will probably be a reboot, which is awful. disney needs to stick to disney style stuff, love the colbert idea love the peanuts idea i could see angry birds too, but everything else you posted is too adult themed, which is why i'm skeptical about starwars. even though geroge lucas says he was making kids movies, you cant have the backstory with all the politics and sort of nazism that vader implies and all the deaths he had and limbs being cut off and seriously call that a childrens movie. it's very adult themed, disney makes live action films like the pacifier, and the tooth fairy, even their action movies like john carter, and escape from witch mountain are incredibly child friendly. disney needs to stay in their own territory unless they actually want to make the step to get a little darker and edgier and give us some more adult stuff.

As much as i wish that marvel will get their other characters back, I really think its not going to happen in the near future. For disney to get the characters back, fox would have to be willing to sell. No matter how much up front money disney is willing to spend, it will never match the earning potential of the xmen/FF. The names alone in the title of the movies has been proven to be enough to make a profit. Even when the movies suck, they still make a profit. The only reason why a company would give up that much potential is if they are dead broke. The only way i see Marvel getting them back will be a sharp decline in the demand for cbm's and its at its highest point ever. Every MCU success lessens the chance of them getting the rights back.

Disney doesn't need to put their paws on anything else until the success of Star Wars 7 unleashes. But they shouldn't buy DC, they would ruin the meaning of seperate universes within comics. They shouldn't buy Halo because the film adaptation would end up like Prince of Persia (Yikes!), They shouldn't even have their mind on getting the rights to Family Guy, yeah they can go ahead and get the rest of the rights back to Marvel, and they can have Transformers and Ninja Turtles, and Three Stooges, and Peanuts, and Angry Birds.

The Feds would NEVER allow a Disney/DC merger--it would violate anti-trust laws. Disney would control almost 100% of the comic book publishing market if that happened. Can you say....MONOPOLY?

I think Microsoft should move to produce the Halo movie themselves, they tried to get it made via the Studios and it didn't work out, they wanted more control than the studios wanted to give.

They have the Alex Garland screenplay (Though as much as i love the guy, bring someone in to clean up the third act, Garland always struggles there) and produce the thing themselves, they have the money, they can bring in pretty much anybody they want to work on it.

It has the potential to be THE franchise of this decade if done properly.
