ANIME: Dragon Ball GT Coming to NickToons in USA

Dragon Ball, the worldwide phenomenon created by the legendary Akira Toriyama, continues to live strong even after 27 years! The series was originally serialized in Shonen Jump back in 1984 and made into an anime in 1986.

The last episode in the anime series -- the filler story known as of Dragon Ball GT -- aired November of 1997 in Japan. The USA’s Cartoon Network aired that episode and concluded the series in English back in April of 2005. We thought that was the end of Dragon Ball forever, but Toei Animation brought DBZ back in the form of Dragon Ball Kai in April 2009 on Fuji Television and FUNimation followed by bringing it to the USA on Nicktoons May 2010. The Dragon Ball Kai series has come to an end in Japan and will be coming to an end in the USA in early January of 2012.

Nicktoons, however, won’t leave the passionate fans hanging. They will be continuing the series in the form of Dragon Ball GT beginning Monday, January 16, 2012 at 7 PM ET. If you haven’t seen the series in years or at all, here is your chance to walk into the Grand Tour!!

DBZ went down hill right after the Frieza saga.

^^^ : Noooo, the Buu saga was the end. The entire GT saga was garbage. Akira wasn't involved with GT at all. He originally wanted to stop it at Cell, but the producers and fans forced him further.

@jer3miah. Akira was involved with gt at the end of the series. He did want to stop making them though. He intended for goku to die on planet namek.

@Kurosaki

i heard about that, Goku was going to die after he defeated (my favorite character) Frieza. That would have been an Awesome ending, instead they let it get stale and boring.

THANK GOD!!! the BOO saga was sooo sooo shitty!! dont get me wrong GT is pure shit as well. Toriyama wanted to end it after the excellent cell saga so thats where they should have eneded it

dragonball gt sucks and dragonball z is way overrated but don't get me wrong it is good but not great. there are better animes like saint seiya(knights of the zodiac which Dic ruined with their [frick]ed up DUB), fist of the north star among others.
