Oscar Isaac On Playing The Titular Villian In X-MEN: APOCALYPSE
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor reveals to MTV that he was always a big fan of the Apocalypse/Archangel story growing up, and is looking forward to playing the evil mutant in Bryan Singer's follow up to X-Men: Days Of Future Past. Check out the video interview after the jump.
Oscar Isaac had better be careful or else he'll find himself becoming a geek icon. Not content with playing a major role in next year's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he will also star as the titular villain in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. MTV caught up with Isaac and got his first ever reaction to being cast in the role. He doesn't give much away, but says he's very excited and was a big fan of the comic arc which saw Apocalypse transform Angel into one of his Four Horsemen, Death. He also says he has no idea how he'll look as the character when the cameras role.
Bryan Singer is returning to direct X-Men: Apocalypse, his fourth X-Men movie. The film will also star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and many others. It's set for release May 27th, 2016.
