Miles Teller On Why He Signed On For FANTASTIC FOUR: Less Responsibility Than SPIDER-MAN

Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Michael B Jordan and Jamie Bell wrap filming on The Fantastic Four

While we all await our first official look at... well, anything from Josh Trank's Fantastic Four reboot, here's a snippet from Digital Spy's video interview with Miles Teller. The Whiplash actor will play Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic) alongside Kata Mara as Sue Storm, Michael B Jordan as Johnny Storm and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm, and he admits that sharing the weight of the responsibility with that superhero team was one of the reasons he agreed to the film. Teller specifically mentions Spider-Man as a role that he perhaps wouldn't be quite ready to take on, as it would be a more "isolating experience".

"If it was Spider-Man, that entire movie's on my shoulders and that's a more isolating experience. I don't know if I would be into it, but the fact that it's a movie that I knew we'd share... the superhero world, that's a whole different animal. That's a pretty serious commitment."

He and Jordan were good in That Awkward Moment...dude has some charisma...Zac Efron is actually a really decent actor too, could get on the bandwagon for him as Spidey...

You know what? This movie has my curiosity. I doubt it could be worse than TASM 2. And Miles is a talented actor, despite his punchable face.

This should be an entertaining thread...cue the racism...cue the stupidity...cue a flame-war Wednesday on a Monday!

I can't wait for this movie though. Cast is phenomenal, and Trank has some serious talent. Hopefully they can pull it off.
