The official Twitter account for Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D has posted a new image in anticipation of next week's episode, and it gives us our best look yet at the team of super-powered bad guys Cal (Kyle MacLachlan) will assemble to take down Coulson and his people.

We know the gent in the Bane mask is Angar "The Screamer", and next to him is Drea De Matteo as Karla Faye Gideon. The other two would seem to be characters created just for the show, but we have no idea what superpowers they'll have yet. Is it possible they'll turn out to be established Marvel characters? You'll have to tune in to "One Of Us" next Tuesday to find out.

They look pathetic. Remember when everybody wanted the show to use more comic characters back when it was starting out, but now everytime they do they show screws them up?

I'm sorry wait..what?

The mask? Did I miss something? Because it looks like the prop department bought a Bane mask from ToysRus and then cut a hole for the nose to [frick]ing breath

Come on, these are lower than Z-level villains.
Are they serious?

It's ashame because Kyle Maclachlan and Drea De Matteo are too talented for this.

That's the fun about Marvel, they can turn z-list characters into B or A list characters.

Do you guys actually expect them to assemble top-tier villains as what is most likely canon fodder for SHIELD? I'm surprised they based ANY of them on existing Marvel characters at all. Jesus Christ you people need some perspective.

I dont see what the problem is. They are super-powered bad guys. Are they supposed to be all suited in bright colors because thats not what this show is. Never will be. Get over it.

@Ror

Very true, but one can't help but be a little underwhelmed by this little ragtag group of villains. C'mon, couldn't they have at least gotten some cool looking people? (Also, I would've never forgiven myself if I didn't make that joke.)

Seriously, who expects AoS to introduce 4 villains in one episode AND those villains to be major Marvel characters.

Cherrybomb's rare negative comments are always directed at the MCU. Just shows that closeminded fanboyism isn't restricted to boys.
