When you take into account the cast already assembled for next year's The Flash/Arrow  spin-off show, it certainly sounds like it's shaping up to be a team-based affair. We have Brandon Routh as the Atom, Victor Garber as half of Firestorm, Caity Lotz as Black Canary (presumably) and newcomer Ciara Renée as Hawkgirl; with more to be announced no doubt. Now while these guys may very well still make up some sort of superteam, Spoiler TV reckon the tentative title for the series is simply The Atom, so by the sounds of that Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer will be the main focus.

This title is subject to change of course, so we'll update if any new information becomes available. For now though, it appears this will be an "Atom and friends" type deal.

I think this is a misdirect. It's not an ATOM spin-off. It's TV Justice League as everyone suspects. Just wait and watch. Showrunners have been too secretive over this for it just to be an ATOM spin-off show.

Arrow is good and Flash is great. That being said, I feel like the future of the CW DC-verse has been going downhill ever since SuperGirl was announced.

Of course I was sure the Flash was going to suck until the pilot leaked, so hopefully I'll be proven wrong.

I like Brandon Routh- He is the 2nd best Superman and the 2nd best Tony Stark, that is pretty impressive for a short career

Guessing Martin Stein is the tech guy, the brains of the team, unless the other half of Firestorm comes along.

I'm cool with it being Atom. Brandon has been one of the best parts of Arrow this season and he's definitely leading man material. Minus having Capt. Cold mixed into this, (which I think is a Geoff Johns inclusion) I think the more fitting title would be Justice Society.
