They should cancel this show and allocate its budget to Netflix's Daredevil.

Does marvel realize how HARD It's gonna be for me to watch AOS after the badassery of Daredevil lol??? I still enjoy aos but after the brutality, the grit and realistic bare knuckle fighting and great acting and dialogue...Marvel you're testing me hahaha. Wish a lot more marvel shoes would be on Netflix or prime, the stream route. AOS spinoff should go stream

I just need a whole episode about her learning about her powers.

@ComicsBornAndBred I think all the current CBtv shows should make the switch. It's not even about the brutality or grit, but about the depth of characterization, writing, plot, and reflection on actions and their consequences. Not even the current movies have this sort of depth and development (though TWS came close). If it weren't for VFX budget requirements, I'd almost want every CBM to just move to premium cable or streaming. Daredevil did in 13 episodes what it takes movies three movies to do.

I'd also like it if all of Marvel's movies had the same approach/tone as TWS and Daredevil - not the dark grittiness, but the palpable sense of a genuine threat, which most of Marvel's villains have lacked up until now. Just compare The Winter Soldier, Nobu, and Fisk to Loki, Malekith, and Ronan. There's no comparison. The latter three should be just as brutal and violent as the former. You want to know what real quality would be? Juxtaposing the less serious Quill and Stark with truly violent bad guys.

I've only seen 7 episodes of DareDevil and I already have it in my top 3 seasons of comic book shows.
1. Flash season 1
2. Arrow season 2
3. DareDevil season 1
Might be at number one once it's done. Thank god for Marvel and Netflix, couldn't see them doing that on ABC.

@DerekLake I completely agree 13 episodes allows for the ability to really explore the character without the bullshit of filler episodes in a network 22 episode season. And DD does create genuine threat and it's not just because hs human.Thor's villians should create a real threat too. Matt got his ass kicked just as much as he himself beat the shit outta people. Why can't thor lose a few fights, really go through the ringer? I agree that a viable violent threat agonist quill and stark would up the ante..do it for everyone. They've done it for Cap alreAdy. What most important in the stories is the relationship between hero and villain.DD and Kingpin's combative idealisms are so much more entertaining to me than watching a mysterious organization or a never-ending line of villains seeking otherworldly artifacts. I get that's what the avengers is about and that benefits them and their purpose, protecting the globe, but sometimes explore the relationship with the villain more..they did that great with Loki and now ultron. In the solo films, have thor and his adversary's ideologies be examnined...same for the upcoming black panther, Cap Marvel etc. Make the stakes higher. Casualties are an indicator of real consequendes. DD did this. From the multiple gashes and bruises across Matt’s body to city block explosions, everything is genuinely full of repercussions, and seemingly no one is safe. AOU looks like it will do this...create a real threat with repercussions

AOS spinoff should be in netflix or Amazon prime...SECRET WARRIORS with skye and a band of super powered beings doing undercover work for fury. Badass superpowered tV show. DAREDEVIL with superpowers in a way. 13 episodes onmy, no filler and real characterization explored and villians fleshed out. I'd love that

Is it wrong that in my head... They're kissing?

Good clip, can't wait for tomorrow. Even though Daredevil looks better on pretty much every technical level, I still think AoS will be my favourite CBTV show. I just love the world they've built, and I have connections to all the main cast.

Must be a generational thing because I can't see how one would be able to compare what appears on ABC and what appears on Netflix. One is an adult pay-to-watch streaming service -the other is a traditional family-friendly broadcast network owned by Disney. Seriously, they are apples to oranges -you can't judge one against the other. It's too insane to try.

Personally, I like the varied approach to the Marvel Universe. People use to criticize the MCU, when it was only movies, as being too similar and NOW people are judging television shows for being TOO different. smh

Anyhow, I enjoy both AoS and Daredevil equally. I love the broad approach to AoS that brings in the lesser known portions of the mainstream MCU. And I love the dark corners of the MCU that Daredevil and other Netflix shows bring.

Marvel has so much dark property -they would not have been given justice on network television if they became a broadcast show. Back in 2009, when Disney bought Marvel -a lot of fans worried we wouldn't get the right tone for the gritty and supernatural aspects to the MCU. People speculated that those franchises would be bought up by another studio. NOW, we are so lucky that Disney has allowed Marvel to pursue another platform to give those type of shows their due. We are getting the BEST of BOTH worlds.

I appreciate ALL the efforts that Marvel has made to give us an MCU with such a grand scope that goes from one side of the spectrum to the other. No one can complain now that this is not a varied diversed world that these heroes live in.

@TheRealRemyLebeau by ringer I dont mean only phyiscally but emotionally and mentally. Fisk hit DD where it hurt, not just the face, but his heart and mind. The darkest of the dark elves didn't hit Thor in the chest emotionally like his deceitful brother Loki can.

So for anybody that thinks that they should cancel #AgentsofSHIELD.....A big F.U to none other than you! The show is amazing and very connected, the reference are refreshing into knowing whats going on in the MCU behind the big screens. Yes the show is not perfect but yet again what show is?, hold your thought because quite frankly I don't care. If y'all think that y'all can make a better show then why aren't you up there working for Marvel? Huh! So shut it and take it like a man or woman. Also, i love Daredevil and that is all ,thanks.

So tired of the all-out offensive against anything Marvel by a select group of trolls of late. There must be fear of success for anything to do with Marvel Studios. Such shallow haters.

This show is doing well… Its not as good as DareDevil and Flash but its still above Arrow, Gotham, Smallville and most primetime television.
Cant wait to see Deathlok back in action! Skye control her powers and Coulson B1tch Slap Olmos's character Gonzales!
Also with Ward coming back who knows what could happen.
