The final Incursion that affects the Marvel Universe has pitted it against the Ultimate Universe. With no solution for the imminent end, both realities collide and are destroyed, and fragments of it join the remains of other realities to form the new Battleworld.













Secret Wars #0 will be with us on May 2 as part of Free Comic Book Day, while issue #1 hits stores on May 6.

if your a real marvel then reading these comics you'll start seeing how they're writing tony become more of a villain .............. he's doin doom level things at this point

Yeah, but to all you "isn't this convergence?" please rewind to a few months back when Marvel announced this was happening, THEN DC announced Convergence and everybody was like "So they're rippin off Secret Wars". You kids and your ADD. This is going to be epic. They need to scratch off 616 and start over. Good for Marvel for having... what... a 70 year run with the same universe?

@ Nomis, Quesada is a tool and BMB is spotty at best. There has been excellent runs with some stories though. Fraction and Remder stories are pretty spot on. Suprior Foes of Spiderman was amazing, Ant Man has been great so far. Superior Spiderman and Spiderverse were great. Uncanny X-Force, Infinity was pretty cool. AVX was eh.

@infire we'll have to see. The Cabal has basically teamed up with Reed Richards of the ultimate universe which is no bueno. At the same time the illuminati of 616 in some ways can be held responsible for the dilema. It's probably the reason why everybody is fighting. OK I've flooded this thread, sorry guys.

This is where the Marvel universe gets rebooted and al the X-Men, and other mutants are retconned to be Inhumans.

@infire kinda yes. What I'm most interested in seeing is they are bringing back... and DETHPILLOW maybe you can fill in some of this if I miss it. But it seems they aren't bringing back the classic Beyonder, but it seems from the same place there are beings called the Beyonders??? The Incursion is going to wipe out all realities and everything is going to be made in to battle world.

@HavocPrime I'm also interested to see if that happens. I hope not, and it seems that we all THOUGHT Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were going to be Inhumans, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems they are genetic experiments of the High Evolutionary?

With Jonathan Hickman at the helm, this is probably going to be good. Everything he's done for Marvel (Fantastic Four, New Avengers, Avengers) has been GOLD. He takes out the archetypal good and evil element and makes it so it's more humans making good or bad decisions with complex motives, like in real life, and it makes for awesome comics.

@Nomis - Totally agreed. What's even more annoying is even though they constantly reboot # 1s they'll still give big blowout issues like it's still being counted from the original #1. i.e. Uncanny X-Men #600 is the next issue even though it's issue 24? lame.
