Cant believe that I'm saying this but I like Babs more than Mooney. Can she just die already? Penguin totally shouldve killed her when he took over. The whole "Dulmahker" (or however the hell you spell it) story line is completely asinine.

I CANT WAIT FOR THIS! All of the feels on this :)

(Also, I'm betting that Selina finds out that Fish is her mother before Fish dies in the crossfire of the turfwar)

@Jeight oh definitely. Some weeks I feel like it's the best show on right now, Altough Flash and Arrow have ramped it up lately.

Just give it a rest,
they need to improve alot with season 2.
More Bruce, Riddler turning bad, maybe Joker, penguin becoming more than just a kid that wants power.

So bad. Too much going on at once. Uneven acting/direction.

It's really sad when the Batman knockoff (Green Arrow) has the superior show.

I'm just catching up with Gotham, I've yet to finish the second episode with the Ogre. Now more than ever I see the potential this show has. All the GCPD stuff with Gordon and Harvey is good. Even the Bruce/Selina kid detectives stuff is really tolerable.

But then there's also the Fish Mooney solo arc, which over the last few episodes didn't even have anything to do with Gotham or the mob anymore. It was just there to give Fish screentime, and it completely killed the flow of the episodes.

Gotham's first season with a lot less overall focus on Batman mythology foreshadowing and with a Fish Mooney who -if she had to be there at all- never survived Penguin's coup might have been pretty cool.

Fish Mooney -> worst CBTV show character

@Kyos Agree with you 100%! Fish Mooney is one of the worst CBTV show character ever! Why did they invent a character that brings the show quality down? If Jada Pinkett Smith stopped over-acting, her scenes could be half tolerable.

We still have apologists saying "it's NOT a Batman show", when it clearly is? I can't believe the one character people wanted killed off 6 months ago is still on, this is actually fairing worse than Birds of Prey.

Fish mooney reminds me a great deal of Eartha Kitt. Love them both. Sad to see Fish go.

Jada Pinkett was fine as hell back in the day. Now her face look like it's made off plastic, UGH! This show is beyond horrible.

Eh.

Gotham is a seriously misguided show. Sometimes it will pump out a decent episode-- for instance, I really dug the Red Hood installment-- but for the most part, it's been a season of alternating between dull filler and campy garbage. All of the ties to Batman's superhero mythology are strained nearly to the breaking point (both Scarecrow and Black Mask had fathers who used almost their exact gimmicks? Selina Kyle was the only other witness to Bruce's parents' murder?), and nearly all of their original material is shockingly bad (the BALLOONMAN?! This is a thing that actually made it to air?!?).

It's almost completely irredeemable. But at least the actors are having a decent time, and hey-- it DOES feature the first live-action versions of Harvey Bullock, Renee Montoya, and Crispus Allen (even if they're all around about two decades too soon). And the cinematography's nice.

I'm just waiting for this thing to run its course. Here's hoping it doesn't make it to ten seasons, like Smallville did... It might reinforce some of DC's worst habits with television. I'd much rather see more Flashes and Arrows hit the airwaves, rather than a slew of half-assed prequel shows.

I really have enjoyed the last few episodes because Jada was absent... kill her off already
