Looks like someone told Tyrion all the wine was gone.

He needs to be Puck in a Marvel movie.

Was the fates of those 2 characters left "hanging in the balance" though? I kind of just assumed that it wasn't meant to be ambiguous. I'll be pleasantly surprised if that's not the case, but I thought it was pretty clear-cut.

Well

SPOILER

one is dead and one isn't, so I'd say it wasn't that clear cut!

@RorMachine Well damn, okay then! In that case, looking forward to seeing which one managed to survive.

@InfiniteMonkey Parker, Wolverine, JJameson, Dr Curt Connors, Jim Gordon, Guardians of the universe, The Punisher... I don't care. I would see Dinklage as anyone.

@SauronsBANE Yeah, the episode 5 promo spoils your question.

@RorMachine

I am still not sure. I mean Grey Worm still managed to do a few things and nothing happened to him at the end. Barristan did receive what would seem like a fatal hit, but then again why was Grey Worm still trying to save him. Grey Worm kind of saved him at the end, why would they show that if he was already dead. Barristan could be alive and just severly injured on a bed or something.

I know that even when he is still alive in the books that doesn't count here. But, for me it seemed like he might made it out of that one.

@Reasonnnn Good thing I usually stay away from those promos then haha. Seems like a dumb thing for them to spoil though!

Oh yeah, SPOILER WARNING for my last comment. If you haven't seen last episode why would you be here if you don't want to be spoiled though.

OH shit, you guys are talking about the promos. I didn't see those. Well maybe he doesn't make it after all.

Didn't the preview at the end of the last episode show Barristan layed out for a private mourning moment with the mother of Dragons?
Reasonnnn
Reasonnnn - 5/7/2015, 2:42 PM
@SauronsBANE Haha, yup. Apparently D&D wanted to write Barristan out but the actor who plays him vehemently tried to stop and persuade them not to.

beto - 5/7/2015, 2:50 PM
But Barristan is a POV character in the books now. Does that mean that his story is going nowhere there?
Reasonnnn
Reasonnnn - 5/7/2015, 2:58 PM
@beto He's going into battle at the end of ADWD. He could die, but I'm treating the show as an alternate universe.
beto
beto - 5/7/2015, 3:14 PM
@Reasonnnn

Bu he can't die on the battle for Mereen. I mean he's a big character, they can't kill him offscreen. Or are they going to kill him in his own POV? That's so Prologue/Epilogue material.

Well that's what I get for thinking I know everything from reading the books. When I saw the episode I just thought, 'eh...he'll be back next week...still alive'. No shock value at all.

I'm very disappointed in Jon for banging melisandre when he had the chance.

I think it took more mature "manly" self restraint to say no then give into everyday lust which rarely works out in the long run for fictional or real life folk.

Good job Jon!

He's still gotta die though.

What @Spartan said. Besides Melissandre is a witch, she could be bored and could have decided to play a prank on Jon, maybe by the time he put his pants down he would realize that Melissandre just grew a magical penis and things go downhill from there for poor Jon. The Night is Dark and full of terrors.

I do feel like we will have a lack of b*tch slaps this season. There's is noone left in KL ro slap Cersei and Tyrion won't have anyone to slap in Mereen.

I'm Very interested to see how Dany deals with the Harpies. Is she gonna send a large portion of Harpies or deal with it herself?
Reasonnnn
Reasonnnn - 5/7/2015, 4:35 PM
@beto I think he will die during the Battle of Meereen. I forgot about those TWOW sample chapters, but I do not see Barristan heading back to Westeros for Dany.
