FANTASTIC FOUR Character Profiles Give Us Some Background On The Team

Though there's no footage of the characters in action, the official Fantastic Four Twitter account has released four brief videos featuring Reg E. Cathey's Dr. Franklin Storm discussing the strengths and weaknesses of Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing...

FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

Directed by Josh Trank, The Fantastic Four reboot stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, and Jamie Bell as the Thing. The film is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015.

It looks better than I thought, but it's still on the list with Terminator 5 and Ant-Man for movies I'll eventually rent.

Don't call them haters! They prefer "true fans". Ya know, you can only be a fan if you refuse creativity.

@fettastic

I bet that has something to do with them walking back on the idea that Mr. Fantastic "folds space" or some such shite explanation for his abilities.

"I'm curious though, when does coming to every thread about something you hate, to post wash rinse repeat comments equal trolling?"

Well, that's pretty much a form of trolling. Reposting the same negative stuff in order to get a rise out of people.

You sir are an idiot! I usually try to refrain from calling people names on this site but sometimes my patience runs thin.

Many people on this site laughed and mocked when they said they were making another Mad Max movie and how did that turn out?

Also you must be filthy rich from winning the lottery so many times since you can see into the future or you have a time machine and have already seen the movie to make the judgment call that it is the worst movie of 2015.

"riseofloganX36 - 5/26/2015, 9:21 AM
So ben is just called Ben and not ben grim? Ajd Johnny is still black. Worst movie of 2015"

I actually would rather see the detractors say this instead of trying their damnedest to justify their hate with the non-sensical excuses they usually use.

Can't wait for this film!

What I like most I guess is that the film feels very claustrophobic, very confined,
Which I think already sets it apart from most CBM's, very horror-like.

Lets face it the F4 is lame in general but their enemies are badass hands down.

So yes I love the look and feel of this movie, they do not look cheesy and do not feel like a joke either.

I guarantee if this exact movie was being released under the Marvel Studios brand there would be no issue with a lot of folks on this site.

I think that poster is just not well made. In the trailers he's not that tall. I'm thinking he's about 7 1/2 feet. And on Marvel.com, Ultimate Thing is listed as 7'5" and 1650lbs. So I think he's right around there.

Now if we want to talk about how they have been advertising and promoting the movie........ well I agree it sucks!

Good lord such little exposure for am Ovid that is hitting in a few months.

I dunno, we haven't seen much more for Ant-Man than we've seen for Fantastic Four, and things seem to be ramping up now.
