STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Merch Provides Our First Glimpse Of The New-Look 'C-3PO'

Images of a drinking glass, a desk & chair set, and some other Star Wars: The Force Awakens items have leaked online and provide new looks at characters such as Finn, Rey, and Chewie. We also have our first Episode VII glimpse of Threepio and his new red arm! Check it out...

Thanks to the following snaps of some leaked Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise (via Making Star Wars and /Film), we get some new looks at the likes of Finn, Rey, Chewbacca, Kylo Ren and his Stormtroopers, and the three droids. Most interesting are the shots of C-3PO because as you can see, he's sporting a red arm.

The protocol droid has been put through the ringer in previous Star Wars instalments and has needed fixing up before - but what could have happened to him this time around, and why the snazzy color change? Whatever it was, I'm sure it was Artoo's fault.

Thoughts? Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars Episode VII is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.

This movie is going to be one of the most epic things that can happen in your life! Wait for the opening night and we can talk again.... 32 years! That will be a BIG payoff!

It's gold in the first pic.

Nice. At this point, C3PO is old as sh!t...and likely quite outdated as a 'top tier' protocol droid...so it make sense that he would be a bit worn down, and have a bit of that hodgepodge type of construction.

He had a silver leg in the original film, so this is just a new spin on that.

Chewbacca looks really old and grey in that pucture. Makes me wonder if that pic of him in that trailer wasnt a cover up for his new aged look

He should get a ton of tats like the Joker because he's gangsta.

C-3PO can be exiled to Jar Jar Binks land as far as I'm concerned. In the best "Star Wars" movies, he was still the worst part.

Damn, saw this 3po figure at a flea market today with that arm. Should have bought it.

An orangey red arm? Maybe he punched a hole through Jar Jar Binks.

...he still looks the same. If anyone noticed the lower part of his left leg through 4-6 was actually silver and not gold like the rest of him. Changing his arm...why? I don't understand.

Ya know, they never did explain Threepio's one silver leg piece. I assume it's left over from his years at the Lars homestead, but the movies never address it or its significance.

Perhaps the red/orange color is because he now is a proctology-droid?
