According to interviews for Flash from Comic-Con, all of the Flash heroes and villains this season will come from Earth 2, so this is likely someone from DC's 1940's comics.

I don't know why, but for some reason I could see this being this worlds version of Tar Pit. The GC would just be added later.

I totally think you're right considering Tar Pit's connections to Jay Garrick and Zoom in the comics and the fact that he attacked the Flash Day Parade in the comics.

I also really think Zoom is going to end up being Kadabra with Arrow introducing magic this season and season 3 will be about getting Barry out of jail.

I know TV has a much smaller budget then big box office but a guy in street clothes and a metal helmet? The guy went shopping at Old Navy and picked up a pair of black pants, a charcoal grey hoodie, and a full length black coat, and found a Chitari helmet left over from the Avengers New York battle.

That's the best you can do? Really???
