ARROW Adds TEEN WOLF's JR Bourne As DC Villain 'Double Down'

Season 4 of the CW's Arrow has landed yet another supervillian for Oliver Queen and his pals to contend with. Teen Wolf actor JR Bourne has been added to the cast as Double Down, a metahuman who has the ability to use his playing card tattoos as weapons...

There's gonna be a LOT of new characters on season 4 of Arrow, and so far most of them are bad guys. We found out earlier on that Jeri Ryan would guest star in episode 2, and now The Wrap reports that JR Bourne (Teen Wolf, Stargate, Revenge) will debut in episode 3 as Jeremy Tell (geddit?), AKA Double Down. This guy is more closely associated with The Flash in the comics, and will no doubt be crossing paths with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) on his show at some point too.

Other season 4 recruits include Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk, Echo Kellum as Mr. Terrific, and Alexander Calvert as Anarky. Arrow returns to the CW on October 7.

I like the additional villians. The more they add to either Arrow or Flash and then use in the other show the more of a shared universe they create. I look forward to both seasons!

Okay, I just looked this character up...don't they still have a lot of A-List villains they can use before they get down to the level of this guy? From what I can tell just from reading his Wiki entry, he sucks. He's a grossout version of Bullseye.

I can see several cool and relevant places his story would fit into whats happening in the show. And it should tie into the mystical stuff they mentioned.

Seems that with such a huge addition of characters, thay are gonna go villain of the week this time, again.

They better get creative, this format seems to be overplayed, and makes villains look very weak. Same applies to Flash

He's a darker kind of villain, so being on Arrow makes sense. Let's see how he's used on the series.

I hope hes in for more than one episode. I think Flash and Arrow are best when their villains are fully fleshed out characters (reoccurring) and not just a "freak of the week" villain.

In a twist: His origin has been changed to an evil vegan who, once, managed a KFC.
