Is there a chance we won't see Hank Pym again in the MCU? It would seem highly unlikely given the major role the character played in Ant-Man, but even though Michael Douglas sounds like he'd be more than happy to return, he has revealed to Yahoo! that he hasn't signed on for any more movies... not yet, anyway. “I’m not signed up to anything more,” he told the site. “I’ve learned a whole lot and would look forward to more if it comes my way but if not I’ve enjoyed the experience."
It's probably only a formality of course, but if and when Pym does return, it seems Douglas would like to get in on the humor a bit more next time around. “Paul and Adam (McKay’s) re-write bought a lot more humour. I accused Paul of bringing a lot more humour to his character! Michael Pena can take care of himself. I on the other hand was left giving the exposition and the plot, which I was happy to do. In the next one I hope things get a little more bizarre.”
