Looks Like Liev Schreiber Really Might Return As 'Sabertooth' For THE WOLVERINE Sequel

Hugh Jackman mentioned that it was something a lot of fans wanted to see, but now a Twitter exchange between the two actors might just hint at Schreiber's Victor Creed reprisal

Though X-Men Origins: Wolverine is pretty much universally despised, the general consensus seems to be that Liev Schreiber's Victor Creed/Sabertooth was one of its saving graces. Recently Hugh Jackman asked fans what they most wanted to see from his final go-around as the clawed mutant, and Schreiber returning as Creed was up there at the top of the list. Could we really see it happen? Well, check out this Tweet.

Now there is going to be a lot of assumptions here. We can assume Jackman is training for an upcoming role, we can assume that role is Logan in James Mangold's follow up to The Wolverine, and unless Schreiber is joking around (which is also a possibility of course), we can assume he's talking about joining him.

These guys don't have any projects in the pipeline that they'll be appearing in together (that we know of), so though this is not exactly what you'd call evidence that they'll be re-teaming for the final Wolverine flick, it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. What do you think?
