Marc Spector has been defending New York City for years as the masked vigilante known as Moon Knight. Or has he? Waking up in an insane asylum shakes that confidence. Turns out he’s been institutionalized since he was a child. But that can’t be true. Can it? His mind is full of identities, and he no longer knows which is real. Now residing in a mental health facility, his thoughts are clouded and he has no idea what to believe. If he calls to Khonshu, he believes the ancient Egyptian lunar god will answer. Is this a sign he still clings to his sanity, or has it slipped from him completely? If Khonshu answers his prayers – what could he ask in return this time?

Gorgeous art style for a really underloved character. I'd personally much rather have a Netflix Moon Knight show than Iron Fist.

Amazing art. Sad they are changing directions with the character YET AGAIN! I liked the last runand I loved Vengeance of Moon Knight. Just make him slightly unhinged. I liked how in Vengeance he was fighting his violent nature, and in the last series he'd basically realized he's crazy, but as a result of Khonshu in his head. This could be interesting though.
And yeah a Netflix Moon Knight series needs to happen!

He's definitely a knock-off, but he's far more interesting.

This art is simply amazing. Smallwood might become one of my new fave artists. Can't wait for this!!! Lemire is one of the best comic writers right now.

I'm excited!!!!

Really like the artwork. I've always enjoyed this character. He's a knock off of Batman, sure, but it's been a long time since he was JUST a knock off. The character is much more than that now.

HOLY SHIT THIS IS EPIC.

Moon Knight is getting awesome runs from all the good writers.

Moonie might become the new Daredevil or Punisher in terms of being elevated to new heights by new skilled writers.

They're making him a better character by exploring him, redefining him, and maybe even reinventing him.

Just like Frank Miller did with Daredevil, and Garth Ennis did with Punisher MAX.

Marvel snagging Lemire from DC has gotten me to start reading them again. I'll definitely pick this up.

People say he is a rip-off because they are ignorant to how much of the superhero genre owes to "Millionaire Playboy Blah Blahblah is secretly Nahnah at Night. Yeah, Batman started the trend, but let's be fair about labeling something as a rip off.

Screw the Batman comparisons, Moon Knight is 10x better. He has 4 distinct personalities and a Moon God comes to earth and tells him to kill in the name of Khonshu. MK, when done right, is WAAAAAAY more demented than Batman.

The last couple MK series were light on the supporting cast. I'm hoping Lemire brings back Frenchie, Marlene, Gena, Ray and of course BERTRAND CRAWLEY.

Name one time Batman ever RIPPED OFF A GUY'S FACE. That's what I thought.

Moon Knight is as much a ripoff of Batman as Batman is a ripoff of Zorro and The Shadow.

such a great character...he really deserves his own series on Netflix....and perhaps if Kingpin is the villain in season 2 of Defenders they can go the ultimate spiderman route and have him take on the Ronin persona and try to kill DD instead of Spider man. I'm pretty sure most of the members of the Defenders are in that comic(including possible supporting characters like Shang Chi)

Moon Knight seems like he could be become this era's daredevil if the writers keep up the good work.
