UPDATE: New STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Trailer Next Monday

A new report claims we'll be getting the next - and apparently final - trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens on October 19, which is evidently also the date tickets for the movie will become available for pre-order. More past the jump...

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the next bit of footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and we might just be getting it the the form of a brand new trailer next Monday, October 19. Though not officially announced by Disney/Lucasfilm, ScreenCrush reckon they've confirmed that's when we'll see the trailer, and it'll coincide with ticket pre-sales for the December 18 release.

The ticket sales, at least, seem to have been confirmed by the Cinemark theater chain, who posted (then quickly pulled) an official announcement in Spanish, which roughly translated as: “In the next Monday begins the pre-sale of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at #Cinemark! Run before the Stormtroopers end up with all the tickets.”

Whether or not the trailer also debuts on the 19th remains to be seen, but we won't have to wait very long to find out one way of the other.

UPDATE: Making Star Wars reckon they've confirmed Mondays trailer, and claim we'll be getting a little sneak peek of it on the Sunday during the football game on NBC.

I hope I won't want to see the trailer. Obviously I'll go see the movie so another trailer is useless for me. But I know I'm weak...

So so so so glad Abrams is making this first launch and setting the bar with all these practical effects that are so much more magical than any boring CGI. George Lucas made the New prequels with a newer dumbed down generation in mind while flipping off the core fans behind his back. We are finally going to see the OT brought to us by one of us.

Huh...Makes sense they would release it close to pre ticket sales date.
