TRANSPARENT Actress Amy Landecker Joins Marvel's DOCTOR STRANGE

Though production on Marvel's Doctor Strange is already underway in Nepal, the cast announcements are still coming. The latest addition is Amy Landecker (Dan in Real Life, A Serious Man, All Is Bright, TV's Transparent), who'll be playing... well, we don't know yet!

According to The Wrap, Amy Landecker has joined the already very impressive cast of Marvel's currently shooting Doctor Strange. Her role is being kept under wraps for now (please speculate away), but she'll star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton and her A Serious Man co-star Michael Stuhlbarg.

Scott Derrickson directs the mystical comic book adventure, which tells the tale of neurosurgeon Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch), "who after a horrific car accident discovers a hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions."

Doctor Strange hits theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.

So what you're saying is that they're releasing casting announcements as filming goes on rather than auditioning and etc momentarily? That makes more sense. However, it's known that some films do add on more as they go along or even improv as well.
