Rumored Details On GREEN LANTERN CORPS And A Possible TEEN TITANS Movie

In addition to the planned Titans TV show, word is there's also a big-screen outing for the teenage heroes in the works. Plus, it sounds like that Green Lantern CORPS movie could see Hal Jordan and John Stewart team up for a Lethal Weapon style adventure. More past the jump...

In addition to their recent Aquaman report, JoBlo claims to have some details on Warner Bros.’ plans to add more diversity to their DC-based films. It's already apparent that comic book movies are beginning to make a conscious effort to provide bigger/better roles for women and minorities, and as Warner Bros.' prepare to expand their DCEU this is apparently set to continue.

There's been a Teen Titans TV series in the works for a while now, but JoBlo reckons there's also a movie planned, that may or may not fold into the solo Cyborg flick we've heard about. The Titans' roster is made up of several popular female characters, including Raven and Starfire. We also know that the studio is planning a Green Lantern CORPS reboot, and word is that will feature both Hal Jordan and John Stewart in a "Lethal Weapon in space team-up." The site has also heard that at least one gay superhero will be joining the DCEU over the next few years, but they don't specify who or in what capacity.

We'll have to wait and see if any of this comes to pass, but it does make sense given the steps both WB and Marvel Studios have already taken to add more diversity to their movies. Thoughts?
