More WONDER WOMAN Set Snaps Feature Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, & Saïd Taghmaoui

As filming continues on Patty Jenkins' solo Wonder Woman flick, we have a few new images from the Essex set. Get another glimpse of Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), Ewan Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui in their WWI-era garb after the jump...

Thanks to the Justice League News Twitter account, we have some more pics from the set of Wonder Woman. Truth be told there's not a whole lot here we haven't seen in the first batch of images (another glimpse of Saïd Taghmaoui's still unnamed character aside), but it's been a quiet day up 'till now so what the hell.

Hopefully as filming continues around the River Thames in Essex, we'll start to uncover a little more about the plot - but for now let us know what you think these guys are up to and how it'll tie into the present-day portion of the movie.

Should wonder woman look greek??? Or ethnic? Mamoa gives Aquaman a Polynesian look which actually fits well with his water worshipping origins. And apprently, Mera will be ethnic as well. Seems like the DCEU is embracing some realism in terms of what these heores should look like; at least with Aquaman

Snyder had Elodie Yung, Elektra now, as one of his top choices. She def has an ethnic look and obvious origins. Idk, maybe Gadot was the better actress but...idk. Sold on everything but Gadot, but I hope she does well.

I've got to say... it's such an odd choice of putting her in the first World War. It's like they just arbitrarily decided "Captain America already did WWII, and there aren't very many WWI movies, so lets just be different".

But the origin of Wonder Woman, her brand of feminism, and the comics golden age are so wrapped up in social changes of the second world war, a moment in time that I think represents a profound break in the course of world history (at least in the west). 20 years earlier, the issues of women were drastically different in America (and even more removed from the modern feminist issues that Wonder Woman film should speak to).

Wonder Woman was not a suffragette. She was a late-first wave radical feminist...

This can work. But it's like putting Jonah Hex into the Revolutionary War or doing a Blackbeard movie in the Barbary Coast. You've got to know damn well what makes your character tick, not just a vague concept like: "Wonder Woman feminist, got it, moving on."

Cool stuff. I'm wondering if Patty Jenkins would use a flashbacks structure film, like the first Highlander... i think it could be great!

I'm a huge fan of the period. 1899-1912 may be the most densely packed decade-or-so of events for understanding the course of modern history. But I'm just not sure Wonder Woman is the right person to explore it in fiction.

Sherlock Holmes pretty much is.

I'm not quite familiar enough with possibly different versions of WW origin and history to say something profound about this. I just like what I see here, and think it can make for an interesting story. Hope Gal Gadot will be good!

I love the current Wonder Woman comic book, however gonna wait and see what Gal Gadot is like as Wonder Woman in Batman V.Superman:Dawn Of Justice first before investing any time in a solo outing.

I believe they've cast the wrong actress in the role.
