CGI artists never get the praise they deserve. People talk about the practical effects while there was probably more time and effort put in the VFX.

Finn was a pussy! He lost all his fights! I need my heroes to be the ultimate badass ALL the time. never mind that he showed incredible courage on several occasions and was a well rounded, consistently likable character - if he's not kicking ass like an ass kicking ass kicker he ain't shit! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I like that Finn is realistic and doesn't win all the fights. It'll make his development in that way in ep 8 and onward that much more satisfying.
