Wow. Nolan sounds so exceptionally brilliant. I suppose that mentally and artistically he exists on another plane that is unreachable by other film directors. Just wish he didn't turn his Batman into a feeble loser.

@VolkanTaskillas Not going to diss you for feeling that way but you really missed out. Ledgers performance as the Joker was the best we've seen in a fantasy film ever.
Aaron Eckhart was great as Two-Face also.

You... you are joking...
What roles in film in general do you consider the greatest performances of all time? On a side note, how old are you?

@Volkan
Then do you believe Method Actors are superior to traditional actors?(as an actor most of my inspirations and admiration are for method actors)
Who do you consider the better actor? Brian Blessed or Orson Welles?
Daniel Day-Lewis or Ian McKellen?
Michael Fassbender or James McAvoy?
James Dean or Hugh Grant?
Gregory Peck or James Stewart?

I've always noticed Nolan's Batman seems to draw a lot from the golden age Batman comics.

@VolkanTaskillas

Well I think you're right if you're referring to the fact that there is no definitive portrayal in the comics. Each person interprets a character in their own way. I, for one, loved Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. He came up with something completely new to bring to a character that everyone thought they knew. I'm personally open to any kind of portrayal that brings something original without going over the top. You disagree, but that's your opinion.
