Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

I still can't see Adam Warlock's cocoon open.

Is that burst thing behind Howard? Because that looks more like metal than anything organic.

I just noticed that Howard has his hat on.

Well, not "on" exactly, but it's lying beside him.

As far as I know, no. But people kept saying that you could see it behind Howard, and after two other showings plus this image, I still can't see shit.

It's so gratifying when Nathan Fillion says "you have to watch the credits to know who I played", and all the kids on here insisted I was wrong that he meant you had to actually read the credits to know, since he was unrecognizable. No no, of course he's in the end credits, and he's Adam Warlock, or Nova, or what not.

Seriously, and not just with me, but there's people on here who think things through, rather than simply jumping to the whole "this is what I want, and I can twist that quote to mean it's going to happen" reaction. Yet a lot of the other readers on here love to just blow us off.

This movie is a must for Blu-Ray. Hard to say that about most movies nowadays :(

@Astro

That shit is going to be dry as [frick] by then, but I hope you enjoy it!

I forget what article it was in, but Gunn said that Howard may become a normal part of the MCU, possibly as a part of GOTG2. Wouldn't mind that at all if it happened.

Hopefully the Nova Corps will be different in sequels due to the events in the first film. Maybe the Corps as it is are just the Corpsman. And in sequels they will have all the ranks from Corpsman, Millenians, Denarians to Centurions.

Rocket and Howard would be funny on screen together. He's awesome and all, but I would use him as comic relief nothing more.

I feel really bad for those who can't see this movie yet. I feel as if we've 'popped their cherry'. Or something like that haha.

;-)

@KIDDSOUL - Howard was voiced by Seth Green. I'd pay to seem Seth voice him in another movie.
