Ryan Reynolds Suits Up Again For DEADPOOL Reshoots
It appears Ryan Reynolds has returned before cameras fully-costumed as the Merc with a Mouth with reshoots for the highly-anticipated Deadpool movie well underway in Vancouver.
With just over three months remaining before Deadpool opens in theaters, the highly-anticipated R-rated Marvel adaptation apparently kicked off reshoots, or additional photography, right before Halloween last month and will continue up until this weekend. Principal photography had wrapped back in May, but YVRShoots reports that the production crew will be returning to all but one of the original filming locations in Vancouver, Canada. And thanks to the Daily Mail, we have photos from today's shoot which involved a fully-costumed Ryan Reynolds in action as the Merc with a Mouth.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Directed by Tim Miller, while starring Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), T.J. Miller (Weasel), with Ed Skrein, and Brianna Hildebrand (Ellie Phimister), the much-hyped Deadpool is scheduled to open in theaters on February 12, 2016.
