Ryan Reynolds Suits Up Again For DEADPOOL Reshoots

It appears Ryan Reynolds has returned before cameras fully-costumed as the Merc with a Mouth with reshoots for the highly-anticipated Deadpool movie well underway in Vancouver.

With just over three months remaining before Deadpool opens in theaters, the highly-anticipated R-rated Marvel adaptation apparently kicked off reshoots, or additional photography, right before Halloween last month and will continue up until this weekend. Principal photography had wrapped back in May, but YVRShoots reports that the production crew will be returning to all but one of the original filming locations in Vancouver, Canada. And thanks to the Daily Mail, we have photos from today's shoot which involved a fully-costumed Ryan Reynolds in action as the Merc with a Mouth.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Directed by Tim Miller, while starring Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa Carlysle), T.J. Miller (Weasel), with Ed Skrein, and Brianna Hildebrand (Ellie Phimister), the much-hyped Deadpool is scheduled to open in theaters on February 12, 2016.

It's a ploy to get that suit Ryan Reynolds stole back!!! With the budget they gave this movie, they probably need to reuse it for the sequel! Well played, Fox, well played.

When a movie I'm rooting for undergoes reshoots, it proves that the movie is going to be awesome, because they're putting even more effort into getting it perfect.

When a movie I'm rooting against undergoes reshoots, it proves that the movie is going to be terrible, because they're desperately trying to fix all the problems at the last minute.

In conclusion, confirmation bias, confirmed.

I understand that they're obviously going to animate the eyes a bit in the final film but does anyone else kinda like his actual eyes exposed? I don't think it looks too bad.

This seems like bonus footage to me. Maybe a post credit lead into Deadpool 2, since the studio loved the first one.

Wonder if they ever considered giving him white contacts?

So we know that this Deadpool is very different from the Origins version. I wonder how different this Wade is from the previous version seeing as they are basically pulling a TIH or Bond but with the same actor.
