“Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist” is an upcoming Capcom sanctioned live-action webseries from the creative team behind the noteworthy web short, “Street Fighter: Legacy.” The series will explore the early days of the two primary "Street Fighter" stars Ryu and Ken and the story of their tutelage under their master Gouken, who must decide how much of the ‘Asatsuken (Assassin’s Fist)’to pass down to his two pupils after experiencing first hand the ill-effects that befell his younger brother, Akuma. Gouken struggles with whether his two young trainees Ken and Ryu will split along the path of light and darkness just as he and Akuma did under their master, Goutetsu. In addition to portraying Akuma, Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum) will direct from a script he co-wrote with Ken actor Christian Howard. Togo Igawa (Memoirs of a Geisha, The Last Samurai) will portray grandmaster Goutetsu. Mike Moh (Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight ) plays Ryu. Hal Yamanouchi who portrayed the elderly Yashida in "The Wolverine" will portray Senzo while actor Mark Killeen, who had a brief but memorable guest spot on "Game of Thrones" as Mero has an unspecified role. Filming aims to be wrapped by the end of August for an early 2014 release. Courtesy of CVG we have our first look at Goutetsu and Senzo—
