Thor The Dark World cast premiere

Tom Hiddleston spoke with Flicks and the City at the Thor: The Dark World premiere.

Christopher Yost spoke with Newsarama about how a comic book writer transitioned to working on the script for Thor: The Dark World.

"I was working in the Marvel Studios' Writers Program, doing development scripts on the next generation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe while Thor was doing some additional photography. I was asked by Marvel exec Craig Kyle to help out with a few scenes, some random lines here and there. It was great, I got to work with Kenneth Branagh and hang out on set for a couple of weeks… but then in my second year in the program, they began brainstorming on Thor: The Dark World.

I was fortunate enough to know and work with Don Payne, who had written on both movies, and from there eventually got a crack at writing a draft of the script.

The Marvels Feature Film Writers Program was a hugely great experience. Not only did I end up working on the Thor films, but I got to write a couple of feature scripts for Marvel properties that we may see down the road one day. No, I can't say what. Essentially it was a way for Marvel to explore some of the lesser-known properties that Marvel has, characters who aren't as well known as Hulk, Cap, Thor and Iron Man. In working with Kevin Feige and his executives, we work out a premise, flesh it out, get feedback, and eventually write a script.

From there, who knows… but there were some pretty exciting projects being developed."

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje spoke with Marvel.com about his dual role as Kurse/Algrim the Strong.

“The most time I spent was with Christopher Eccleston. We are very much bonded in our vision of the world and our purpose in the movie, so we spent a lot of time together. But it’s great…I’ve got scenes with Tom Hiddleston (Loki) [and] Chris [Hemsworth] (Thor). “I did a lot of mirror work before I went to the stage because I was trying to bring a presence to him. I found that less was absolutely more…because the bulk actually said a lot. [With] Kurse…the rage becomes something else, but what I've tried to do instead of just making him this ogre, this powerful brute, is keep the Algrim within him.”

Natalie Portman spoke with E! News about her time filming Thor: The Dark World where she professed her delight in slapping her male co-stars.

"I found it very satisfying. I think it's behalf of all my girlfriends who had guys that didn't call them back or disappeared or just fell off the face of the earth. There were sort of like secret boxes or ramps or something that they would sneak in there so I could be closer to him, otherwise there would be no way I could hit his face if I tried. I'd be like jumping and trying to reach his cheek."

/facepalm Really? The first two comments? Arguments away!

The reviews look good atm. We'll all keep a close watch on Metacritic, RT, and of course (above all else), we'll decide for ourselves once we watch the film.

I imagine he's(ManOfReal) excited about the first taste of the next chapter of the expanded verse.

Now go to your rooms for fighting. No dessert.

Come on man tell us who you really are. It's a good cover, a little over the top, it is just the timing is way too convenient. Im probably wrong but I have a feeling that you are a long time user that snapped when they finally got the boot. You're among friends here we won't snitch? Take off the mask and go back to your old sane self.
