I thought when Drax punched Ronan in the chest (as to tear out his heart ala Thanos) was a cool nod towards that event in the comics...Ronan looked at Drax after and like WTF? I have armor bub...

I saw it again last night, It didn't look like BRB to me, looked like a big, orangish colored dude with a red cloth around him...maybe him before his modifications or another Korbinite, but don't know...

Friend saw it this weekend and said the same thing about beta ray bill with the red cloth and the head and whatnot.

he also noticed the cocoon but said that it was not in the same area. going to see it sometime this week after the crowds die down.

is the other actually dead? i thought ronan just knocked him out.

also i just got a though in the comics we know drax got his powers thanks to thanos's dad and grandfather the mentor and chronos. in the film drax to me seemed like he was just an alien so would it perhaps be possible to see the mentor and chronos give drax the power to kill thanos in a sequel.

@kinghulk a lot of things are possible in the sequel. I just finished reading some early Nova stories and one of them was a cross over with Fantastic Four where they go to Zander to save it from being destroyed a second time. None of that being the important part, the important part is in that book Nova Prime was a woman, the Nova Corps were just Law Enforcement, & they all flew space ships. They mention the super powered Novas are limited to one per sector. That sounds like a good place to build a Nova movie from being that we have seen Nova Corps and it seems like most of them were killed by Ronans ship. Maybe after this attack they up their Nova's power levels as a response and that is how Richard Ryder will get his power.

There is just so much possible going forward from Marvel. They have teased just enough in all the films that in 8 years we could see a Bucky Barnes dressed as Captain America leading his Avenger Team into space to join with Nova, Adam Warlock, & Guardians of the Galaxy against any number of cosmic villains.
