@fettastic

LOL.. Me too… I got hammered friday night and just spent all weekend blazing O.G.K watching DareDevil.
I was going through depression the rest of the day after it ended… I can't wait for more series… If the other series like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron fist keeps up with DD then the Defenders series should be amazing.

I saw the first two episodes of this bland and pretentious show. I don't think I'll be watching a third. Horrible pacing and badly written dialogue. Couldn't stand that Foggy character either (his dialogue was the worst).

The show was fine. A lot of cliches from Marvel (killing someone really good off to inspire the hero to take action and finally defeat the villain), but glad they finally had a really good villain, with a back story and reasons! Daredevil was good, but really, I don't get why they would make him blind if he's not really blind...think about it, he gets from place to place and can sense well enough to say if there's two road flares in a bag across a room, that's more than super senses. Foggy basically filled the Tommy Merlyn role of the show, except without dying. Clair pissed me off though due to underuse. its like she played a fairly big part in 3/4 episodes, then is only referred to and given a cameo in one of the final episodes! I didn't like that because she was a good character. Oh, I also hate how they, more than once, did the tell, not show approach. They didn't show some fights that could have been cool but instead showed the end results. And we have Matt, who apparently is a ladies man, but is never shown actually getting girls! He flirts with Clair and Karen, but when you have Foggy like "oh, you always get the hot ones" all the time, but NEVER show the hot ones, what the [frick]? Other than that, good show, 7.5/8 out of 10

I don't slick. Because not all shows are as bad as this one. Hahaha! I'm not even hatin'. I gave this show a second chance by watching the second episode. Crap.

Not bad. He caught everything I did and more.

I have to say that I was a little saddened about the way they repeatedly referred to super-villains in name or in easter eggs, but didn't depict any of them as super-villains. We see he who is apparently supposed to be the Owl getting fitted for a coat, but he never becomes The Owl. Instead he just buys the farm. They have hornhead square off with a member of The Hand, but no one ever mentions The Hand. That kind of stuff.

I know that the obvious answer to some of this is that this is Daredevil's origin story and they are saving all the super-villains for season 2. OK well that's cool but has it ever even been confirmed that there will be a season 2? I mean obviously the show is doing well, but other than in the comments section of this web site I have never heard anyone else say that there would be. I don't recall any statements made by those attached to the project. Does anyone know for sure if there will be a season 2?

Fetty, when does this show actually get good? If the guy who did Spartacus did this show, then I'm not surprised I don't like it. That show felt like a poor television rip-off of Zack Snyder's 300.

Seeing how you thought it was crap after only 2 episodes, what would you consider better than this?
Frame of reference for me to tell if your just trolling or if you really did give it a chance and were disappointed…

You never know.. If its as big of a success as some of us think it is, they might green light a DD season 2 before defenders comes out.
