Anyone who honestly thinks JJ will ruin this is a goddamn fool. The trailers alone already beat the entire shitfest prequel trilogy Lucas shat out.

@Battabing, yeah it is starting to kind of look like that. Hopefully the similarities aren't quite as pronounced as they seem from the trailers.

I am glad someone else realized that if Kylo Ren was Luke Skywalker he would have built a real lightsaber, and not that piece of junk that Ren seems to have. Plus, compare Ren's movements and body style to Mark Hammil. Not the same person. So no, those photos in Vogue of Adam Driver as Kylo Ren were NOT just an elaborate hoax by Abrams to fool us. Adam Driver really is Kylo Ren. (Now, if you want to claim that he is maybe a partial clone of Luke, I might buy that. The First Order could have found Luke's severed hand and used it, but instead of making a pure clone who would look like Luke's twin, they just used it to combine with a woman's DNA to basically create Luke's son. That would give him the attachment to Vader. But, I think it's more likely that Han and Leia had twins, and for some reason chose to separate them and send them away for protection. And somehow Kylo fell in with these Knights of Ren, while his twin sister, Rey, ended up on Jakku. I kind of hope I'm wrong though, because I just don't like the idea of Leia giving up her kids.)

@mattatack, yeah George Lucas was so horrible. He just gave us Star Wars, ILM, THX, etc. He's basically responsible for nearly every innovation that makes all the movies we love, from the Marvel movies to Jurassic Park movies to Lord of the Rings to even Avatar and Titanic. Yeah, I just hate him and his movies. And Abrams gave us one good Star Trek movie and one Star Trek movie that is basically a bad copy of another Star Trek movie, along with a few other action movies, so clearly Abrams is far and away better. Oh, and don't forget his constant use of lens flares! Yeah, you just keep telling yourself that. (Yes, that was my sarcastic voice. I am sick and tired of idiots disrespecting George Lucas because the story he told in the prequels didn't match up to their vision of 3 movies showing Darth Vader hunting down and killing Jedi. Get over it already! While these trailers look amazing, they also make it look like Abrams copied a lot from the original trilogy. So I just hope it's not another Star Trek Into Darkness. Even though Lucas pulled themes from myths and the idea of the hero's journey, at least he was able to weave that into an original story. Abrams only seems able to copy so far.)

I don't think Kylo is Luke. If you compare his size with the people around him in the trailer he is tall, Luke is not.

Everybody keeps assuming the dead body in the trailers is one of the original characters. But what if it isn't. I'me not saying one of the original characters doesn't die. But what if the character we see dead is in fact someone close to Rey at the beginning of the film. We know she was left on the planet, but who was she left with. I believe it is this character we see dead in the trailer.
