I have always thought why Marvel would even want to put Spider-Man in an Avengers movie, as much I can't say it would be cool to a mention or a cameo of Iron Man or Thor in The Amazing Spider-Man, it just won't happen. Why you a sky its actually very simple, Joss Whedon said that making a movie with Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and Nick Fury was hard so try adding maybe the biggest comic book character ever to the team, it would be impossible to make a movie that is both good action wise but great story wise. Unless the movie was a Civil War movie which would be awesome, but yet another think that won't happen in the foreseeable future, but i think that adding Spider-Man would be very hard for Joss, if he stayed on to direct the sequel, it would be impossible.

Spider-Man should have a cameo of just Peter in The Avengers but nothing more than a brief cameo like Wolverine did in First Class. I would love to see it happen but in the near future Spidey won't be in The Avengers. But we can always hope right?.

I also saw this pic that has a Paramount logo on set of 'Spider-Man' or Maybe The Avengers tell me what you think.

Comment below and can you guys or girls tell me what comic series i should read only by Marvel involving The Avengers or Spider-Man
Thanks.

It's actually more simple than that. Sony owns the rights to Spider-man so it is not Marvels call if he will be in a movie. And before anyone goes off on a tangent that Marvel will get all these properties back, I will direct you to a quote from a lawyer courtesy of IESB that looked into a loop hole that MAY have granted Disney all the Marvel movie franchises back. Also I think somebody is messing with you. The Paramount logo is clearly photoshopped into that picture.

Disney will never and I mean never, ever, not in a 100 years, get this property back under the control of Marvel Entertainment, just not going to happen. Fox owns all of these properties for perpetuity, in other words, for-ev-ver….for-ev-ver…

Word on the street is Fox has made it very clear that they will not let go of any of the properties under their control for any live action medium.

We’ve also been told that if it ever came to the point where they were going to lose any property they own because of failing to have a movie in production, they would simply produce a low budget, straight-to-DVD feature and stick it in any theater to fulfill their theatrical release clause.

So what about Sony’s Spider-Man franchise? Same thing as the Fox deal, the contracts protect the studio 100% but they do have to continue to make movies with the Marvel characters on a regular basis. Spider-Man is not going anywhere, that also includes Venom.

Bottom line, the Sony and Fox contracts are rock solid.

If spiderman were to be in this movie before Ant Man, Wasp, or Black Panther I would be very upset. I honestly don't want spiderman to ever be in The Avengers.
