Deadline is reporting, Univesal Pictures has three directors already in mind to helm their Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. Those three directors in contention are: Frank Darabont, Gavin O’Connor and Andy Muschietti. Frank Darabont is probably the biggest surprise on this list as he is known to be very picky about which films he works on. He is the former showrunner of AMC's The Walking Dead, until he was booted cause he wanted the number 1 show on cable television to have a higher budget. What a jerk! He is also the director of arguably the best film of all time, Shawshank Redemption. Gavin O'Connor is also talented as he directed Warrior, a thrilling mixed-martial arts film with Tom Hardy. Lastly, there is Andy Muschietti who directed the Guillermo del Toro-produced horror film, Mama.

The first film was directed by Rupert Sanders and starred Kristen Stewart ("Twilight"), but Stewart is not expected to return for the sequel. Producers are planning to have a film that focuses on Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman character. Neato! Producers are also gunning for a 2015 release date, but that might be wishful thinking.

SNOW WHITE & THE HUNTSMAN was directed by Rupert Sanders, from a script written by Evan Daugherty. The cast includes: Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Ray Winstone, and Nick Frost.

I'm sure they confirmed that Sanders would return for the sequel?
Guess things change!

I don't think this is a movie that really needs a sequel or even set up one. Doing one will just feel so forced.
But hey, money speaks I guess.

If this movie is going to focus more on the Huntsman, then why not just call this Thor 3?

Why the hell does Kristen Stewart have the same face for everything. She can't even have an action face for an action scene. Everyone else has got the grunt look and this bitch looks like 'oh i'm just here'.

Actually, you should do your homework a little bit better :P Kristen was not expected to return back in 2012, until the scriptwriter refused to keep working on a script for a snow white film without snow white. Since then, and after the box office for 'Breaking Dawn part 2', the Universal executives have actually signed her already for a second one, and she has talked about the sequel for a while since then in interviews...

^^ Uggh...way to really ruin it for everyone! It was bad enough news that there is going to be a sequel without Stewart's involvement :-p

First one was shit any time Kristen was on screen. She is genuinely bad at acting. Also the writing was pretty bad. Also it stole from a few sources...yeah it was actually just a bad movie haha

If there isn't snowwhite in a snowwhite film then it isn't a sequel, it is a spinoff.
I'm actually divided in this one. It was an awful movie, like watching a medival cheap soap opera, really hard to stay siting in the theater but still I want to know what happened to her.
