Catching Fire was extremely good but this is my least favourite book in the franchise

I hope they show more Peta. I find him a more interesting character than Katniss. Probably because I'm a guy, not a girl. I really hope they show the brainwashing stuff. Show what he really suffered for Katniss.

The first two movies have been great. As for this, I don't know if it's really intended to be a true teaser trailer. It didn't have the "this preview is intended for......" at the beginning of it, and no movie title or logo at the end. I'm not sure what you would call it. It is similar to those early "mutant question" commercials that were supposedly done by Senator Kelly in the leadup to the first X-Men movie. They were made to look like actual political ads, and this looks like political propaganda too. It has a website listed at the end, probably a viral website like other movies have used. Clearly meant to get fans interested in the movie, but I don't think "teaser trailer" is the proper description. I actually missed when the first teaser trailer came out, but just watched it on you tube. It was pretty good, although it had about as much footage from the first two movies (if not more) recounting how she became the Mockingjay as it did footage from the new movie. I would think a full trailer would come before the end of summer, maybe around the time of SDCC & premiered there.

This will upset many on here, but if it's fairly close to being as good as Catching Fire, Mockingjay Part 1 could easily be the biggest movie of the year. I don't see it having any problems passing any of the cbms, and Transformers and the third Hobbit movie are the only other 2014 films that I could see beating it. Some may not realize this, but Catching Fire ended up beating IM 3 in the U.S., and nearly hit $900 million worldwide. So unless it just goes in the opposite direction in terms of quality, this next one will probably do anywhere from $800 million to a billion.

I'm assuming that video I saw was the official one, but I could be wrong. If it was fan made, it was pretty impressive, but it certainly had the look of an official trailer.

Never mind, just watched it again, and it was NOT the official trailer. They did a good job, but clips from other movies are in it. Supposedly, a teaser trailer will be attached to Transformers, and might be released on the internet on Thursday night, according to the site www.quarterquell.org. But I would treat that as a rumor for now.

Looking Forward to this. I didn't like the first one very much, but i gave a chance to the second and it was quite a surprise. The improvement with the change of director was sort of like from Captain America 1 to 2.

While the first movie deviated from the source in a way that weakened the film, the second elaborated and expanded on certain elements that went without being described. I do feel the same as those who least like the final book of this series. Hopefully the filmmakers can do more of the same as they did in the second movie in order to differentiate the viewing experience from the literature, without changing the story. Maybe

I hope that they deviate from the 3rd book and make Katniss more of a threat. Like @Dandy said, most of the book was her being super emo, and it got so many people killed. Also, I hope that they expand Johanna Mason character. I like the actress, plus she can provide that change of pace to the seriousness of the 3rd book.
