Pixels. The film's plot centers around New York City being attacked by classic 8-bit video game characters. The government recruits the best video game players/experts from the past to defeat this unusual threat. It's being directed by
Chris Columbus ("Harry Potter"). Below, you can watch Patrick Jean’s short film in which the feature film is based on. In the short the 8-bit characters came from the classic video games:
