Above, is the first look at Peter Dinklage ("Game of Thrones"), Josh Gad ("Frozen"), Michelle Monaghan ("Eagle Eye") and Adam Sandler ("Just Go With It") in Pixels. The film's plot centers around New York City being attacked by classic 8-bit video game characters. The government recruits the best video game players/experts from the past to defeat this unusual threat. It's being directed by Chris Columbus ("Harry Potter"). Below, you can watch Patrick Jean’s short film in which the feature film is based on. In the short the 8-bit characters came from the classic video games: Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Tetris, and Arkanoid.

Anyways, that short reminded me of that one Futurama episode where Fry wondered how life would be if it were more like a video game .

Sandler should just give up. He hasn't been funny since Happy Gilmore.

The last good Adam Sandler movie was Click. It doesn't even seem like he tries anymore.

@HBarnill Surprisingly, he does have quite a bit of range. He was great in Punch-Drunk Love.

I like the concept but i hate Adam Sandler more than i have hated anyone in the universe.

Anybody who helped create Jack & Jill should NEVER be allowed in films again.
