It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The Dark Knight Rises was directed by Christopher Nolan, from a screenplay written by Christopher and Jonathan Nolan. The cast included: Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John "Robin" Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul.

I really liked the designs they came up with for the GLC, it was one of the best things in the movie.
Of course it's the one thing they barely used.
Sigh...

I will always love TDKR just because it showed Hines Ward score a touchdown at Heinz Field. A true landmark of American cinema.

It's a shame how much effort went into the CGI and effects for GL, so many awesome aliens designed with awesome detail and all for nothing. The other lanterns were hardly used

I really would like WB to try again at a Green Lantern movie. The Green Lantern Corps has so much potential of being great. That it sucks that WB brought out that turd instead of a diamond. I could see it believe it or not Green Lantern becoming bigger then Batman. I know that isn't possible right now. But with the right script and director it's very possible. I think a Green Lantern Corps movie is the way to go. It needs to be a team up movie. Look at movies like X-Men and the Avengers those are team up movies. They both work and WB needs to do the same with the Green Lantern Corps.

Have Hal, Guy, John, Kyle & Kilowog be the stars of the movie. You could have other GL members but these be the ones that get the most screen time. If you wanted you could even have the Star Sapphires and the Blue Lantern Corps in the movie. I think it would be great to see Saint Walker on screen. The battles you could make for this movie would have endless opportunities. Plus this time around I would like to see no Earth made constructs. The GL ring lets you make whatever you can think up. It doesn't need to be realistic or make sense.

So why not make a dragon T-Rex hybrid. That has chainsaws instead of fingers. Has ten heads instead of one. Has a mace with huge spikes for a tail. Is covered in fire and shoots out electric bolts. Plus just to make it even crazier it has a jetpack on. Instead what was shown in the GL movie was a race car and fighter jets. They could have at least made the fighter jets a cool spaceship or the race car a mech. But no it was Earth based ideas. I love the crazy things that can be made from the GL rings. So I hope for the next GL movie they show you can "will" anything into existence.

The dark knight rises needed that bat boat. it would have added to batmans escape from the bomb and it would have explained how he got back into Gotham while it was taken over. Also, they could have used it in the scene where batman meets gordon on the ice. TDKR could have been so much better if they had just changed a few things.

Green Lantern will always be one of those "what could have been" films. That film always stings because of the missed opportunity. I hope that they give the character another chance.

Why does everyone act confused about how Bruce Wayne got back into Gotham. I thought it was obvious. There is a tunnel that rubs under the river. It's where the reactor was. Anyways someone please make a dark knight mod of Watch Dogs. It reminds me so much of those movies. The first two were shot in Chicago.
