“MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is the fourth film of George Miller‘s Road Warrior/Mad Max franchise co-written and directed by Miller. The post-apocalyptic action film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order… There’s Max (played by TOM HARDY from The Dark Knight Rises), a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And… Furiosa (played by CHARLIZE THERON from Prometheus), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.”

I'm loving the little details, such as the staples holding Helman's old wounds shut, plus Theron's apocalyptic prosthetic arm looks very interesting!

Love Miller's 'Mad Max'!!!!!

I love how the heading of this article says "They features stars Tom Hardy". Can't believe these writers don't check for grammar... America has failed us all.

Every time I see stuff from this movie I'm reminded of how awwwfuul Doomsday was. And it's probably not even that awful, but contrasted against how stoked I was for it, it sure was. Rhona Mitra is effing awesome and deserves to kick massive amounts of ass somewhere, and Doomsday looked like a total lock. How do you [frick] up Mad Max + Escape from LA, anyway? Sigh. So bitter.

AAAANYWAY. This, on the other hand, probably is a lock, and I look forward to it quite a bit.

Hardy is perfect for this role. I just hope this movie isnt a boring rehash.

Aside from the epic car battles that had never been seen before? The palpable feeling that everyone in the movie was in a life or death struggle? That the Humongus and his people were completely and utterly ruthless? I wouldn't call the movie fun, not by any means, but as a vision of the worst of humanity, it was amazing. Even Max being duped into being a decoy to allow the others to escape. It was excellent. Mad Max was just as good. Thunderdome is by far the weakest of the 3.

Thank you sikwon. While I dont entirely agree with your points, you make some valid arguements. I too love the 1st Mad Max, its just that the Road Warrior was just such a drag to me that i fell asleep twice watching it the 1st time. It just struck me as a post-apocalyptic version of the old Wacky Racers cartoon

So first you say Mad Max is garbage, and now you love it? How could you fall asleep during Road Warrior it's one of the greatest action films ever made? You MUST be joking. Or trolling. Probably trolling.

@Azazel1
YES THEY SHOULD
Say what you want about Mel Gibson, he may be a bastard, but he is one of the best actors out there still to this day. Edge of Tomorrow was his first acting gig after like six years of directing and it was incredible seeing him act again. I'm glad he is in the new Expendables.

I can't wait to this I'm a huge Mad Max fan.

oops my bad. the movie Mel was in wasn't Edge of Tomorrow, that was Tom Cruise's new movie (which wasn't bad btw). Mel was in Edge of Darkness
