I hope Ezra is more likable than Anakin and Ahsoka in Clone Wars.

Just really annoys me they can't get the accents right. Iam from London and the way ob1 pronouces certain words wrong gets really under my f@)king skin. Same goes with the clones in the clone wars they don't sound like they are from New Zealand. Correct accents please Lucasfilm!!!!

They have other English voice actors and good ones too why get an American to imitate a bad English accent. Abysmal!

Okay. Wasn't really warming up to this, but the trailer is badass. I shall follow this series with great interest.

At about 47 seconds you see a glimpse of a ship that could be the Millennium Falcon.

I hope it's better than Clone Wars, but Dave Filoni (Clone Wars) is running the show...so that's not good.

I already know that i am gonna hate Ezra he seems like a blandest character ever. Not much hope for this, Disney isn't interesting in making good cartoons anymore.

YES! I'm from NZ and it really f.ucks me off, when they use voice actors who don't sound like Kiwis they figure as long as they can do a half-arsed Aussie/American accent that'll do.

Uh, you guys do realize these characters aren't English or New Zealanders? They're from space. You can't really say the accent is wrong. I can see why you'd be annoyed, and I'm not saying you can't be annoyed, but complaining that space people can't perfect an English accent when the characters will never know what England is seems a bit silly

As for my opinion of the show, it looks pretty good so far but I have to wonder, this implies that Ezra is the New Hope - what happens to make it that this group doesn't come up in the Original Trilogy? If Ezra is that important, he should have interacted with Luke before

@Meady and @nikgrid, I get your annoyance, but technically none of the characters in the story are actually from England or New Zealand. I think that gives them a little wiggle room. They're really just meant to sound like the actors from the prequel trilogy.

I take it that Ezra and the Jedi Master most likely will due at the end of this. Their deaths will inspire the great rebellion. Luke will still be the new hope.
I bet the inquisitor will be defeated then they will make Vader the final enemy.

Technically there not from those country's. Of course. Iam not saying there Exactly from New Zealand or England but when you base those characters on those particular accents and there's enough actors out there from those country's. Wouldn't having the correct terminology and pronunciation be the correct way in doing it without disgracing those characters?? I like the clone wars don't get me wrong but mate there's no wriggling when the cartoon was better than the movies. Just want them to honour what they churn out for us to watch and be faithful to it.

Looks sweet. Liking the Ben Kenobi nod. Maybe there'll be some episodes featuring his exile on Tattooine. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for Asoka returning. Her story.. I don't think its really over

That is, until they announced Jason Isaac as The Inquisitor.

BOOM. SOLD. CANT WAIT.

So they decided to use the original Ralph Mcquarrie "Wookie" design for a new character? Ok then. @Meady I understand a bit what you're saying. That's how a lot of Minnesotan's feel about the "Fargo" accent. :)

Looking. Forward to watching this with my son!

As for accents. Who cares?! I think it's spot on because who knows where they are from. It could be a mesh of accents for all we know. Stop looking so far into things. This is way, way in the future.

No matter how much the main characters of this show do, they will never do enough to defeat the Empire, because that is what the Episodes 4, 5, and 6 are about. So, I guess this show will just be about characters surviving under the tyranny of the Empire or about their attempts at an overthrow and its ultimate failure. Great idea for a kids show!
