UPDATE! Josh Trank Prankster Conducts FANTASTIC FOUR Q&A

Update! Josh Trank ("Chronicle") is back on Twitter and he has tweeted that his Fantastic Four has officially wrapped filming and that the leaked image of The Thing/Ben Grimm is in fact the version that will appear in his film.

If you'll remember, and I'm sure you will. Late last month during San Diego Comic-Con an image of what appeared to be a leaked set photo of The Thing (Ben Grimm) from Josh Trank's upcoming Fantastic Four film appeared online. 20th Century Fox never came out and denied its authenticity, but some people were still skeptical. Today, the director rejoined Twitter after a bit of a hiatus and tweeted out a confirmation of the image and a message confirming that filming had actually wrapped today. Now that we know the image is legit, do you like the new and improved version of The Thing?

Update! Josh Trank just held an impromptu question and answer session on Twitter. He answered questions about: costumes, found footage rumors, Jamie Bell's motion-capture performance as The Thing, Toby Kebbell's Dr. Doom performance, Johnny and Sue connection, tone and the issue some fans have with Michael B. Jordan playing Johnny Storm.

Update #2! Seems we, the internet, have been fooled by an internet prankster posing as director Josh Trank. Collider is reporting that they have heard from a reliable source that the Twitter account is fake. While parody accounts of a celebrity are permitted on Twitter, posing as the actual person is not allowed. We'll see if 20th Century Fox pursues legal action against this prankster.

FANTASTIC FOUR directed by Josh Trank ("Chronicle") from a story and screenplay by Jeremy Slater and Simon Kinberg ("X-Men: Days of Future Past"). Kate Mara ("House of Cards") as Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Michael B. Jordan ("Chronicle") as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Jamie Bell ("Billy Elliot") as Ben Grimm/The Thing, Miles Teller ("Divergent") as Reed Richards /Mr. Fantastic, Tim Blake Nelson ("O Brother, Where Art Thou?") as Harvey Elder/Mole Man and Toby Kebbell as Dr. Doom.

Good cast, Good director, Fox has been on a streak with good to great films. Have a lot of faith in this. But people here only care about seeing these characters next to Iron Man so they'll piss on it.

There goes my theory that it was the Invisible Woman :(

So this basically kills all of the heat people was giving him/this film when Kate was finished filming a while ago? Either way I'm cool with the time period it took for them to film. Trank is a good guy and I respect him for keeping his mind focused on this film and less off of the negativity so many people were/are still giving it.

Other than that, I guess we'll have an official trailer/teaser come this October/November? I wonder if he shot any after credit scenes??? Hmmm...

I honestly don't know what to expect from this flick. I've never seen such a level of secrecy in CBM before.

It might be a good movie but it'll still be The Foxtastic 4 not The Fantastic 4

Still my most anticipated movie of 2015 following Jurrasic World. I've had faith since he beginning; the only thing that worries me is Teller.

Or is he going with a dark, gritty and realistic Thing?

Anyone else a bit skeptical about all of these "mysterious" 2018 films???

-I mean first Fox had an "untitled 2018 film"?

-Then there were rumors suggesting that Garfield signed a multimillion dollar contract with TASM 3 being pushed to 2018?

-And Marvel still (along with two others) has an unannounced 2018 film?

*Buuuuuut then again the 2018 film from Fox could be Gambit, X-Force, or even *sweats* Deadpool

*TASM 3 could just be due to the original writers getting caught up with numerous other projects

*And the 2018 Marvel film could just be another addition to the MCU.

But the thought/hopes of it would still be mind blowing without a doubt...

Looks more like Bedrock or Badrock from Image. But I do like the look. Still need to see more before getting too thrilled. I don't want the movie to be like quasi-real like Chronicle. I want it to be Fantastic amd more superhero.

What's wrong? Gonna miss the addition of powers the blonde hair and blue eyes gave Johnny? :(
