I'm intrigued. It'll be nice to see a movie about astronauts that isn't a 90 minute POS (looks at Gravity).

They're really holding back on footage. The tsunami scene will be amazing in IMAX.

Can't explain. Never explain a joke. If it goes over your head just roll with it.

What the hell. Basically it's a play on the fact that space movies are awesome and the Fall movie season is awesome. That being said it's more of an excuse to post a black science man picture.

Back to topic!

I would watch this film, for the premise alone. I'm really interested to see where Nolan takes this.

YES, @Loki668...I think The Dark Knight Rises was Nolan's WORST film...and by "worst", I don't mean whatsoever to imply that it was a BAD film....just his worst by the grand standards he'd established 'til that point. It's NO 'Inception'....and it's certainly no 'The Prestige' in my opinion...it's like saying that 'Sacrface' was Brian DePalma's 'worst' film after 'Blow Out'.

I'm with QTarantino in saying that 'Blow Out' is in my top 5(?) films ever made. I LOVE 'Scarface', but...no.

It looks as though 'Interstellar' may be this generation's '2001' with Matthew Mcconaughey in the lead. I HOPE so...and I LOVE what I see so far.

This looks like the role 'Alright Alright Alright' was born for and who better than Nolan to take him there?

@PeterDarker121

I agree. The Dark Knight Rises was Nolan's weakest film to date. As far as "weakest movies" go, however, it's one I wouldn't mind having on my resume. It wasn't a bad film, entirely, but he was screwed after TDK because THAT film was awesome! It was impossible to improve on that. In a way, he was a victim of TDK's success. Interstellar, though, looks like it is going to be BEEEYOOOTEEEEFUL!!!

I just can't enjoy Scarface (puts on horned helmet to protect from thrown bottles). Too many white guys butchering Cuban accents for my taste.
