The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Wrath of the Titans"), and produced by Michael Bay ("The Rock"). The script was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The cast includes: Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Will Arnett as Vernon and William Fichtner as Shredder. It lands in theaters August 8, 2014.

the faces here are better but their bodies are too skinny, it wouldnt have been a bad idea to not make em so tall either. Donnie looks awkward towering over everyone

I still can't believe they didn't go with this Shredder design:

At least the concept Turtles look like they could fit down a man-hole.

Really frustrating that all of the concept art looks so much better than the final 6 1/2 foot super turtles. The Turtles were hardly even "Ninjas" most of the fights were won by their sheer size and strength, tossing around shipping containers and cars like nothing. They were like built like the Predators from AVP. They were even [frick]ing bulletproof! Ugh honestly [frick] Michael Bay, its not Liebsmans fault he's a powerless Yes man, most of these decisions probably weren't made by him.

Baby Mikey dancing to HollerBack Girl>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Baby Groot dancing.
Donnie has only seen Batman once. That made me laugh. Ralph invested some emotional out of me, I cried during his big speech. The snow chase scene was the best action scene of 2014 and a classic one that will stand the test of time. "Check the base, bruh!" "MC Mikey" "I'm a snappin turtle fool". Leo was a great leader who came up with great plans. Those action sequences were amazing to watch. Donnie was great "Allow me to be the badass for once!" TMNT was the best movie I've seen in 2014 and it was a great, exciting, thrilling, action-packed, hilarious, entertaining family fun movie and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun time!!!

@WimpyKid4Life

So, either TMNT was the ONLY movie you watched in 2014, or your name is Michael Bay.

@Commenter77 @TankD :

It's my opinion, broski!!! I explained in great detail why I enjoyed the movie and why I think its the best movie I (hint hint) saw this year. True fact, I was literally smiling throughout the whole movie exept during the touching moments which had me shedding tears. No other movie gave me that same level of experience and I was blown alway & entertained all at the same time!!! And I'm not saying it was the ONLY great movie I saw this year, I'm saying it was the BEST out of the great movies I saw so far this year. #RespectTheTurtles

@WimpyKid4Life, I respect your opinion and all.....but I disagree with it. The action scenes were blurry and badly edited, Shredder acted like Megatron and the humor was only SOMETIMES funny.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and all but to me it felt nothing more than Michael Bay reaching out to ruin a new franchise. I swear, pretty soon we'll see a Thundercats trailer with a dancing cursing Snarf, Liono giving some deep speech, chitara posing in slutty ways and EXPLOSIONS! GLORIOUS EXPLOSIONS!

Also, the movie was badly acted and really? How is it better than GOTG? At least those characters weren't 2 dimensional and it was easily more engaging and visually outstanding.
