British actor Vinnie Jones is best known for playing: 'Sphinx' in Gone in Sixty Seconds, 'Big Chris' in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, 'Mad 'Maynard' in EuroTrip and of course, 'Juggernaut/Cain Marko' in X-Men: The Last Stand, but you'll soon know him as Daniel "Danny" Brickwell in season three of CW's comic book-based television series, Arrow. According to Variety, the former footballer-turned-actor will play the villainous 'Brick' in episodes 10, 11 and 12. The character will feature "thick, invulnerable skin" and is described as being a "ruthless gang leader who brings Star City’s government to its knees. He’s known as “Brick” on the streets because he’s been shot dozens of times but never put down."

Love Vinnie, he was great in Lock, Stock, Snatch & Elementary. And he always seems like he's enjoying himself whatever role he plays....

Arrow attracts a bunch of cool actors.

I think this is why I prefer the TV and movie universes to remain separate. The reason AoS isn't getting all these guys in their show is because they have to always think about the ramifications each casting has for the MCU.

They better give him the cornrows. Red skin is asking too much, but hot damn I wanna see Vinnie Jones in cornrows.

Kevin Michael Richardson was born to play Brick, but you can't complain about Vinnie Jones. (If you do he'll find you and headbutt your teeth in.)

He's a a twat, but i suppose you have to be from England to understand how much of a twat.

He's never done a day of acting in his life, just plays Vinnie Jones so i hope this "Brick" is Vinnie Jones, then it might work.

So does that mean we have super villains in arrow now because I thought before there was going to keep powers a flash thing but it sounds like brick will have super skin

Vinnie Joes is awesome, so I'll be looking forward to this. And so nobody remembers his Oscar-Worthy performance as the coach in She's The Man lol?

I'm quite recent to Arrow, I'm upto date with it now and I have to say this is really disappointing news for me. I cannot stand the guy and all he ever plays is Vinnie Jones. Arrow has lost a little bit of credibility. A few people I've spoken to about Arrrow, say they enjoy it but some of the acting is a bit wooden and the story lines are a bit teen dramary. I agree on both points but when trying to defend the show now, I have nothing when the person says "wasn't Vinnie Jones cast in that". Terrible news.
